The first time i saw it i laughed out so loud that my friends wondered what was wrong with me!. The second time i felt really embarrased looking at a motorcycle AD. The third time i saw this AD i made a resolution to never ever watch this AD again!. But im not a bit surprised as this AD is from the one and only motorcycle-fancy-sticker company in India.. HH :P

Well... yeah.. talking about quality, we don't have anything to complain, but here we talk about the ad. If you ask me, to celebrate the 25th year, better they launched something new, than a freakin' 3 minute long AD. HH is so good that they don't require spending a single buck on ADs, just as Soichiro Honda's belief that well built products will sell themselves (WIKI). They uselessly spent their money on 3 minute long lame ad. Their print ads, are tonnes better.

BTW, just read a ticker on Zee Business, that HH is coming up with 3 new models in October... Hope, to be something good.

I still remember the first time when the adv. was aired...in a shorter version with the ZMA jumpin off the chopper. A lot of my friends came to me sayin that the new ZMA will be introduced to counter the 220 and the R15...
Poor souls, all of them...their brand affinity leads them to nowhere but more stickers and senti stuff...
As Thunder rightly mentions, they have a record...a record for producing the most bikes with same engine and different names and hopeless adv.s for all of them. I dont remember the last time I really liked an HH adv.

HH if you are readin this, please take a clue from Bajaj or Yamaha and make better ads. Better still, make better bikes (read that as: keep your loyal customers happy...give them a reason to stick to you)

PS: I happen to own an HH product and the experience is forgettable
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

HH has made some of the finest ads which went well with the target audience that they have.... You may not believe me, but remember the Navratan Tel waalah ad? Thunda Thunda ... Cool Cool that annoyed me every time it appeared on the TV, but now it seems very logical, and well placed ad purely from a marketing point of view...

As far as HH products using the same engine and all is concerned.... duh! Isnt everything in Bajaj based on the same DTSi and now DTS-Si platform?

So does a Bigger Bore qualifies as a new bike...

                    lmao.

Just to substantiate what you said, Kawasaki ZX10R and ZX14R ads are around 30 seconds long and they hit the nail on the head. YouTube - Commercial - Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

Why cant they make something like this for each type of customer? Would it be too expensive to hire a good ad agency instead of paying millions to celebrities?

HH have a large spectrum of target customers, but with this ad, they may have appealed a tad lesser to a large section of the people buying the performance segment bikes.

Yes, I think so. In a country where putting new cheap-design stickers on lean bikes (with everything else remaining the same) constitutes a new model, big bores are like rain to a parched land.

                      LMAO!

Really..if u were to think about it.. HH could've sold more bikes by a simpler Ad than pay a celeb crores of rupees to do a dance sequence! Lol!.. Its funny how the top guys at HH approve Ads such as these.. As a biker i feel disgusted to say the least!

Some of the best Ads are short and sweet to say the least.. most automobile manufactures abroad have some of the most enjoyable ads for their products which would really make one want to buy their products.

The Japanese manufacturers, even european auto' manufacturers like VW etc.. from what i've seen.

The only thing i feel at the times i've seen the Ad is i wish i could dance like hrithik.. and not really want to buy a karizma...i would say for most parts of it, it takes the attention away from the product being displayed to the celebrity endorsing it. as i recall one friend of mine commenting on his dance, totally disinterested in bike, reminiscing about his other dances in his movies.

Arre guyz, why are you ppl not understanding that it was not a AD to launch a new Bike....it was just to promote the HH bikes, as they have completed 25 yrs, also in addition to this it is to tell that HH bikes are found every where in India whether Urban or Rural area...!!

If at all they would have launched a new bike then the advert would have been different...!!
