I know that the ad is not for a new bike. What i meant was they had a great chance or occasion . But they just .......

Something has to be done with department responsible for making ads in HH is all i can say. It doesn't match up with the quality of their products. But HH is not the only major manufacturer of automobiles that have come with great products but nonsensical ads. Look at the most recent Toyota Altis ad.

Do you remember Pulsar Mania? It was not created to launch any new bike but to showcase the Pulsar line. I don't think I need to say anything more now. You can figure out the rest.

I agree that there would be many in line to criticize...but with so many Honda fans (includin me) let down by crappy product releases, this frustration will surely be vented some other way

@satyen: well...big bore + innovative features + better quality levels with each release(my experience with Bajaj products) = new product (my perception...you are entitled to yours)

same engine + new stickers + new name + hopeless quality with each release (again my experience with HH products) = old product with new clothes and name

You are absolutely right...!! but the fact is that such ads(pulsarmaina) are not that famous amongst normal ppl(i mean those who dont know technical knowledge/riding knowledge of bikes and all)..!! But, on the other hand HH ads are that simple to understand/gulp that every common man can understand easily....!!

I have even heard some small small boyz singing the song "Dhak Dhak Go"..!!

Yup I am entitled to mine ..... The question about the ad was that it still creates its vibes with the 'target audience' that it has.... so its a 'effective' ad....
ofcourse there are a few of us who know bikes better (or atleast they think they do) and can identify a sticker job.... for the rest a ZMA and a ZMA R, are different bikes...


Oh just for records my idea of a new bike is something that probably you can compare the R1 to FZ1, a new experience..... period....

Yep.. absolutely...

Its pure disgusting i was expecting to see a new karizma that i could have opted for but what the F its another dumb ones dancing around.

the AD is super cool(....?..) according to me.
you know it proves the mettle of HH bikes it does prove lots of things...like.

the stability: Jumping from the chopper...the bike is so stable that it doesn't fall even after being thrown from the chopper...
and the suspension of bike is so mellow that it swallows all the jerks and will not wobble even after doing such stunts.
and the disc-brakes are so cool that bike didn't fall from the helipad even after the ultimate skid.


the hunk can fly: ... Oh yes the hunk is so aerodynamically built that even if it is made to fly then also this bike will remain with the flow of wind and will stay in air for longer than average TVS bikes and Bjaaj(<its not a typoErr.)

as shown in the ad there are two white strips(V shaped==the reflection of light) being shown on the front hood(glass) of Karizma wherever it is ridden in the tunnel and elsewhere...(oh you didn't get); it symbolises the new stickering that Karizma is going to get in future.(what an idea Sirjee none of the bikes have so cool stickering on their hood.)


and the future ad is going to be made on more lines... like throwing a Karizma from moon and it landing on earth.
throwing glamour from saturn towards earth and it falling on sun() and further more,...keep your fingers crossed.


on a serious note guys... visit the website of Karizma that is better than the website of pulsars... especially the music is really catchy.

The ad in my humble opinion was more about Hrithik and Miss Chopra than about bikes. The visuals look outdated.Why is it that the largest selling bike manufacturer cant gather enough money to make a decent ad. for God's sake,TVS dont have any problem with ads and they usually end up with products which you will want to buy. Maybe HH is saving money to buy the new stickers for the xtreme or was it the Super-duper Splendor.
Come on HH, the legendary ZMA and the xTreme deserve something more than that.
