    How to Install new K&N[BA-2201] For Pulsar

    The is the New K&N Air Filter which is introduced specially For Pulsar, I already posted the Review under General Discussion Thread and now How To install K&N BA-2201 DIY..!!



    Use the Correct Spanner size






    Old Filter looks Yuuk :P


    Clean the Tray..


    k&n Air Filter sealing Grease




    Apply the Grease over the Edges






    Make sure when You insert the Filter it must be in correct direction




    Wipe out the excessive grease






    Thats It Your Good To go

      please post the videos of its sound

      and comment about the performance and fuel economy variation after installment etc....

        After You install a k&n air filter the fuel-air mixture becomes lean, so one needs to tune the bike so that its getting the right ratio of fuel and air. Did You tune Your bike?

          And Rishi As I mentioned before this is a stock replacement Filter so it doesn't require re-tune.

                  Just installed the BA 2201 filter today.
                  Observations :
                  1. Pick up has increased considerably.
                  2. Acceleration too has increased.
                  3. There is no change in the sound of the bike.(unlike the 1100)
                  4. The air filter indicator keeps on blinking constantly(have to figure out why).

                      You ever felt any reduction in top speed?
                      And how about the mileage per litre?

                        No issues with the top speed and highways am getting around 40km and city 38km overall average 38km all the time The reason behind do understand that it's just a stock replacement not a universal filter.

                            Like Air Petrol mixing ratio or anthing else.

                              The change in performance would be easier breathing of the engine and a very free revving capability. Every gear can be shifted higher than in stock filter.
                              I've been using this filter since ages and i feel its really nice. I did not do any carb re-jetting.
