    3) Remove the fuel and electrical connections below the tank as instructed in each photo.
I repeat: DO NOT USE FORCE TO OPEN THESE ,THEY SHOULD COME OUT EASILY.

Fuel injector cleaning is really simple, would improve throttle response and improves overall efficiency. Again, its one of the routine checks that Yamaha svc should do but yet I have never seen them doing it.
Great share and I am sure its going to help many.. It would be great if you can share the tools you used so that people who want to try it on their R15 will find it easier and have all the tools required at one place rather than looking out for them when they need it.. just a suggestion

I would suggest not to use petrol to clean your injectors, as the fuel pressure regulator is already pumping petrol through the injector, either carb or brake cleaner work well, you also need to power up the injector for proper cleaning. Now for that you have two options, one take the injector to a place that has an injector cleaner machine or two hook it up to a battery (not your bike battery) see this video how to clean your fuel injectors (correct way) - YouTube
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

            That's a nice one

Didn't had the carb cleaner but I once had bike laid for several months, as expected it didn't start. I had to jump it so that the solenoid inside starts clicking, now there is only one problem. It clicks a bit loud as if tappets are loose, but the performance is 'the same' , especially after I put 300v motul in it, you won't even notice the difference and the clicking is hardly noticeable, only if I tell you that my injector clicks.

Just for 15 mins, well i have test the limits of R15 engine by redlining it continuously for 1 hour, that too with high lift cams and remapped ecu. so, the bike was doing 160 km/hr at 11,500 RPM,obviously not for 1 hour but I kept it over 150 km/hr throughout. R15 engine is rock solid!

How frequently do we need to clean it? KM intervals?
