Totally agree that watermarking saves one from a lot heartache. But that would mean one would have to keep two sets of pics, one would be for your personal use (non-watermarked) and the other would be for the various forums, etc (watermarked).

Ain't it a headache???

Option two would be to use the photo upload tool within xBhp. No doubt a nifty feature, but then you can only put pics of a specific resolution. Now I use picasa, where I can directly switch between thumbnails and large size pics, or one can post the thumbnails with links to the larger image.

Anybody suggest a simpler software than Photoshop?? and a simpler way of watermarking?

You can use Irfanview(available for free in the internet) for batch processing the watermarking.

The watermark option is not directly given in the software, though after couple of trails it becomes easy. (Never the less the adobe photoshop option gives the best watermark in terms of quality)

Also, for effective Bookmarking in Adobe Photoshop, do this:-->

1. Make a text layer/ image "Xbhp.com Rocks" or any such message, using the Text Tool ... fine?

2. Now, go to "Edit/ Define Brush Preset". Give this a suitable name.

3. Click on the "Brush" toolbar. Now, cl!ck on Brush drop-down menu above (it should have different brushes for you to select) ... and click on Xbhp brush down in the list ...

4. In this drop down, select the Play shaped button (on right) and then choose "Save Preset" and give it a name ...

5. From now on, select "Load Preset" and load that preset. and you can select "Brush" toolbar and apply Bookmarking ... Choose Transparency layerwise, accd. to need in layers menu (F7).


I hope this guide would be helpful to new photoshop users ...

Guys finally I got a simple method to watermark with xbhp logo..
It takes no more than 30 sec per pic..but at a time u can watermark only 1 pic...
