xBhp User Titles updated

Hi Guys,

By now you must have noted yourself that your default user title (Junior Member/Member/Senior Member) no longer exists. Instead, you would see Rookie/Addicted/Rusted under your xBhp handle.

The reason for the change is that we had those user titles for very long time now and the junior/senior tags sounded more like corporate titles. The new titles are more in line with the fun factor which we come to xBhp for.

so the new title ladder is like this now:

0-50 posts - Rookie
51-250 - Addicted
251 + - Rusted


Also the custom user titles have also been disabled for now, so you won't be able to see "Super Duper Moderator" written under your name any longer.

Good.

Now new members won't get mislead into thinking that a 18 year old with a 'Senior Member' title is an old man with arthritis

I think I fall under all those categories.

Why not something added as "ROTTEN" after rusted like me. Nice to see the thread getting modded up. Congo

Good update... but i feel 250+ is a very broad range to be tagged as rusty...

more levels would be more fun as in 250-1000 "getting rusted" ... or 1000-2000- "rusted for sure" and 2k plus"Get out of here"....

Not any more than what it was earlier.

Earlier also, there were junior-senior member titles, that may have caused the same OT's. These titles are more "informal" in their nature which goes by our biker image.

i remember raising the topic of the senior/junior titles a few months ago and also on the feedback section for the forum. Looks like both my 'wishes' were answered

'rusty' makes us sound 'old' ... like we have a bunch of rusty nails around here.. ha ha, let me think if i can come with some more ideas
anyway this is a welcome change from the prev titles.

Well kinda loved these titles...

it feels good that you guys are taking a nice effort to make the site better...

just a suggestion from me that why not add some more features like in TOI site like influence, reader,etc...

I would suggest 'Tenure' and 'how-active (through posts and threads)' both should determine the title of a member. Anyways, it's just a suggestion
