Yes, It's happening because the monitor isn't wide enogh to accomodate two columns of these tiles (Without the need of horizontal scrolling). The tile width has been kept same from the stock theme and the stock theme was made for 1280 pixel+ wide monitors only. So on smaller monitors like yours for example which is 1024x768 px, you had to do horizontal scrolling to view the whole page. With this new theme I made the forum backward compatible for small monitors too so guys using small monitors can view whole forum without the need of horizontal scrolling.

I could make those tiles narrower so that on small monitors one can get two columns instead of one. In fact I tried to make them smaller but because they use common css tags which are shared with many other elements, changing their width is breaking the theme elsewhere.
Working on that is going to take considerable amount of time.

PS. BTW I'm enjoying 3 columns of the tiles on my big fat monitor. :P

Ah! That explains why I get 3 columns at my biggie at home and one column on the tiny 15 incher at office.
Thanks for the clarification buddy.

I'm aware of this. even rreneve also has such overflowing location info.
You're noticing this in new theme because I've reduced the width of that userinfo space.

But the real reason that's overflowing because the location is grammatically wrong. By not putting any space in this > "Bangalore,KA/Pattambi_Trichur," krish2778 has written it as a very big word. He should put some space in that somewhere, eg "Bangalore,KA / Pattambi Trichur". If he hadn't put a space before word Kerala, that location would have protrude through stock theme too.

The only thing that I can do from my side is to kill some of the location.

I think I should change the location length then.

I missed this part of your comment somehow.
I wanted to create a minimalistic version too but as I won't be able to deploy it on mobile devices I didn't bother.

Nevertheless there are a couple of ways to view forum in minimalistic view without doing anything as these are inbuilt into forum software.

1. Archive view > Visit this archive view of xbhp. Unfortunately only thread list view can viewed, actual archive thread discussion view has been disabled by the admin. Anyway this is the fastest way to load the forum on your computer. You could load titles of hundreds of news within a second or two. example > news in archive mode

Archive mode is mostly used by search web spiders, so from SEO point of view archive view should never be disabled.

2. Print View > It's minimalistic and very fast too but it hasn't been optimised here (neither in new nor in stock themes). To view thread discussion in print view all you have to do is add "-print" before ".html" part of the link.
For example >
This is normal view > http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-lounge-off-topic/24547-hilarious-quotes-pictures-answers-420.html
This is print view > http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-lounge-off-topic/24547-hilarious-quotes-pictures-answers-420-print.html

There's one more thing you can do with this view, you can change how many posts you want to see per page (max limit is 40 posts per page). All you need to do is append > "?pp=<number of posts per page>"
like this > http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-lounge-off-topic/24547-hilarious-quotes-pictures-answers-105-print.html?pp=40
