What the hell!!! I'm thoroughly confused as what to answer

RTR 180, FZ/FZS, Pulsar 220 - Bland NO

Fazer - Yea, may be
Karizma R - Bullet proof proven
ZMR - May be
Pulsar 200NS - Yet to prove, but, why not?
R15 V2 - Why not?
Duke 200 - Why not?
CBR150 - Why not?

With so much confusion & one option to choose...I don't know which one; sorry

If given a Free budget of 1.3Lakh, then my choice will be R15v2.0(my personal favorite)

But if considering VFM, It would be a hard fight between 200NS, and Duke for me

After duke is launched each and every bike is feeling overpiced... mostly the cbr150... My vote goes for duke anyday...coz m a naughty guy and want a naughty bike so that i can scare people (by the exhaust note) and beat those street dogs in accelartion

RTR 180, FZ/FZS, Fazer, Pulsar 220, Karizma R, ZMR: Definitely no. Especially with the kind of options available in 2012.

R15 V2, CBR150: Baby Super Sport replicas, cute, good performance for its engine capacity - But no

Pulsar 200NS, Duke 200: High Performance, modern nakeds, can't ask for more fun/performance at these price points.


The mature, strong and silent way by which the P200NS puts its performance on road has appealed to me more than the loud, flashy and restless nature (ironically the original Pulsar DNA) of the 200 Duke.

Therefore the P200NS is it for me from the above list.

I think TVS also needs to have a premium bike now atleast for brand building. Just read TVS July sales are 15% down thats too much -ve growth

for what purpose a bike like Karizma-R/ZMR is meant for..a D200,P200NS,R15,CBR150R..none of these can fill the requirement better..only P220 is the bike which has decent capability as a tourer along with Karizma's in this list..so its not always only performance which counts while buying a bike..

according to you a buyer should always go for best performing bike even when its a sports bike & a person requires a tourer?? I asked this as your post is suggesting the same to me..

In general actually definition of best bike in a given budget differs from an individual to individual as it depends on requirements only..just like more than an R15 I prefer bikes like ZMA,ZMR or CBR250R on higher side because of their much better capability in touring..

Well I've never been a fan of tourers or sport tourers...so the only bike in the list that comes close to that super sports feeling in the above list is R15 V2
