Thanx satyen on that. Yes i know the design on such exhausts that's why I uploaded that S1000RR link too...Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostDoes the image fix that or do you need more images
Now talking about output on say 650R of yours would that require a PC(Power Commander) too?? and how does it work all together?
So, the warranty is voided or not?

+1 on worrisomebears post! Weight reduction is a big plus too!
Warranty is a different animal. It gets voided even if you fit a custom projector! That is a different topic altogether. To answer in short, Yes warranty is voided.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostThanx satyen on that. Yes i know the design on such exhausts that's why I uploaded that S1000RR link too...

Does it matter - Well yes.
Can you go back to stock and claim never having done that and claim warranty - Well yes again!
Whether or not you need the PC5 depends on which bike it is. Some exhausts dont need a piggy back Power Commander
The Duke has a lambda sensor,
The R15 v2 doesnt (atleast till now)
The Ninja650 does
PC5 (+Autotune) tweaks around the AFR and makes the experience well worth it! No matter what altitude, no matter good the fuel or its burn is!

if i would purchase an aftermarket exhaust, it will purely be for power and sound.
although the increase in power is marginal, with a good exhaust, that minute increase in power can easily be felt by any experienced rider. the engine breathes better and power delivery and pick-up becomes a bit more "eager".
this is based on my ride on a CBR250 with an aftermarket exhaust of a fellow xbhpian and comparison with stock CBR. i could feel, that yes there is a difference, though small, it is there.
but i strongly feel that the price at which these are available is not at all justified. grossly overpriced.
and what about emission norms, the aftermarket exhaust don't have cat-cons...whats your take on pollution..??

There's no denying the fact that switching to a free-flow exhaust results in higher emission of harmful gases. Apart from that, the increased noise also causes noise pollution!Originally posted by princesirohi View Post

Let's not forget angry neighbours and general public on the streets who think that such exhausts are a nuisance!

theoritically pollution may fail, but practically it passes easily...just marginal difference...Originally posted by princesirohi View Postif i would purchase an aftermarket exhaust, it will purely be for power and sound.

Btw a proper ffe make the throttle response crisp, the engine smoother, mild increase in mileage and a much much rev friendly nature... It also reduces engine braking to some extentThis Tail Is Japani Tail (spell as you like)

I purchased my RC exhaust for one and only one reason: Performance.
It performs better now, and it seems that exhaust gives me more confidence in taking right turns while leaning. Could be psychological more than scientific, but a good amount of my bike's nature has been changed for sure.
Sound is just an unneeded and added merit (or demerit, depends). Same for the looks.---

Add one more option in poll as " To make it Illegal " , IIRC aftermarket exhaust will make bike illegal in india .
Correct me if i am wrong .
I think though peoples add it for different reasons like sound ( mostly ) , performance ( how much in small cc bikes ? ) but end up making it illegal .

Actually, sound shouldn't be an issue. Most branded FFEs come with DB killers anyway. It's up to the biker to use it or not!Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostI purchased my RC exhaust for one and only one reason: Performance.

even removing saree guard is illegal... India have lots of useless laws...no offence... I would love to have a ffe on my bike which is properly tuned for that particular bike...

Anyone knows if the LeoVince GP Corsa being sold by BachooMotors does good to R15?
Is it really tuned for R15 v2.0 or is it same for R15 to Duke and are being sold at different prices.
@RahulBarik, Illegal to remove saree guard in India?Ride Happy and Return Safe!
