Used HH OEM 10W30 oil till 15k.

After that changed to Gulf Pride 4T Plus 20W40. Change is awesome,Smooth gear shifts, cool engine and less vibrations.

      bike: pulsar 180 UG3(4 years,43000 km)
oil used before:stock oil for two years then changed to castrol active xtra for some time and then to power 1(though i later came to know that its a xw40 and its not good for pulsar)
oil now using: bajaj 10000km oil with synthetic boosters(though again found out that its not that good as said by the service center guy)
so now i am planning to change to motul(either synthetic or semi-synthetic)

[QUOTE=so now i am planning to change to motul(either synthetic or semi-synthetic)[/QUOTE]

motul 5100ss is the best semi-synthetic oil around and great VFM.
motul 300v is a fully synthetic oil.
motul 7100 is also a synthetic oil but contains single ester whereas 300v has double ester and that means it has an edge over the 7100. Go for the 300v if budget is not a concern, otherwise go for 5100 as it is highly recommended for pulsars. pls check the oil grade before buying.

I have voted for castrol since it is easily available, where as there is no any match for motul in terms of performance and quality.hope it can be availble to us easily.

                      hello

                      hello xbhpians,

i have a small doubt which none can clarify except a Xbhpian, can i use Motul Fully Synthetic engine oil in my Suzuki Access?

Has anyone tried using full synthetic engine oil in their Variomatic transmission vehicles such Activa / Dio / Access / Duro.

plz do let me know if i can go for it or not!

                      awaiting for your replies!

                      Thank you.

Honda's 20w40 oil is very good, have been using it in Dazzler now. Previously used in Karizma, Gladiator, Aviator, and Splendor.

Synthetic oil, I use Petronas Sprinta 5000, a cheaper fully synthetic oil, at 500 bucks. Had experience of using it in my Dazzler, Karizma, R-15, RTR160.
