Hey Rajnish Rd accelerator cable isnt available right now, will rx cable work? I actually dont know why fiero carb performs better with its original jets. But I think jet size isnt the only thing that determines air/fuel ratio. Rash had posted something about it in previous topics. Why not chk it out?

use a Caliber upgrade cable......its a direct fit on the pulsar throttle.....the other end is that required on a slide.......
extra cable length can be fixed using a petrol pipe piece of right length......

rohit, you can get a locking plate made, but dont you think that using at 13t sprocket will really screw your bike???

Tried the 13t sprocket, bikes ability to wheelie improved, but strangely the acceleration didnt feel as expected. And top speed? even in 5th at 8500rpm it was just about 100. i figured out that reducing sprocket size on a torquey engine is useless. got back to 16T and now the bike rocks, 65kph in 2nd.

I've tried RX carb, rash's bike. I couldnt find it much quicker than my stock 180. But later when he fit the fiero carb, it was an altogether different bike, good midrange and low end. And I've got RD carb(right side, without choke n starter system). Which cable should I use for this carb?
                  Dear Rohit,
U said that using the fiero carb improved the low to mid range
                  Now,
U were using a smaller than stock carb fitted with smaller than stock jets
and still u get better power delivery...............
well that can be put down to the fiero carb improving the flow characteristics and thus the power delivery...
but still let us not forget that u are eventually ending up pumping lesser than usual amount of fuel
and that is bound to detract from the top end power..........

the POINT of me writing all this s**t is that
if we can have better power delivery even from a smaller carb(and smaller jets)
just by improving the flow characteristics
think what can be the results if we can somehow improve the flow of the stock(bigger)carb....
                  Any suggestions..........????
Rohit, Rash .... etc.... please give it a try..............
                  and tell me the results

everybody.. please atleast reply to this and tell me your opinions..........

Hey scary, How can one improve the flow of an oem cv carb? Its so delicately balanced that upsetting even the slide spring tension makes the bike stall. Anyway lets try that on the RD carb. If rash gets it working, I think midrange and topend will increase noticeably.
