RTR can rev past the red line till 12k RPM in first gear but R15 hits the brick at 10.5k RPM

So I was right about the fury & F650.

            5. India's first 160bhp/ltr motorcycle in stock form?
            TVS-Suzuki Supra SS - 98cc with a 16bhp engine in stock form.
Wow thats a news to me. I had only seen Supras as white colored AX100s with slightly different body style. Was the SS a limited edition?

Even if the R15 wants, it cant. It will result in a phenomena called "valve float" coz the valve springs on teh R15 cant handle rpms higher than 11000. The RTR can safely take 12000rpm and get to a max of even 13000 when pushed, thats only if the engin has enough muscle. My Fiero 200 would hit 13000rpm on a digital tacho without load in neutral(on the stock RTR CDI set-up).

@Techno - Supra SS was a limited edition. However it was widely available all over the country through regular TVS dealers.

@mithun - Its not about the RTR begging for mercy or not (it begs coz a bone stock bike does not make higher peak power), but its the highest revving engine in the Indian motorcycle scene.

Thats news to me, One of my friends who was testing out the R15 (the setup which didnt launch) said that the rev limiter on those bikes were set at 11.2k.

So I guess a different head job should have been the case on them! damn!
