Im from bangalore and Im planning to get an FZ-16.

    1) Was wondering where to get it from. Dont know if it matters much. If it does, please let me know. Options are Lotus yamaha, hebbal (closer to my house) vs pacer yamaha, infantry rd.

I had got my bike from "Yamaha Plaza" which later closed during bad days of Yamaha. Initially my bike was always serviced by this showroom and later had to shift to others. I have tried Orion, Pacer and Panache. You can always buy from one showroom and get serviced from another one. I know that Pacer doesn't give any discount or freebies. If you get some goodies from Lotus, you can go ahead with Lotus. Out of the 4 places I have given for service, Pacer appeared to be the best one. I have no idea about servicing at Lotus.

I brought my bike from lotus yamaha only. The attitude of the sales people is quite good. Especially the owner. But still i faced this problem after purchasing the bike. http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...tion-help.html

          Welcome to xBhp!

The place you buy the bike from barely matters. I'd suggest to pick the one closest to your home.
None of the Yamaha dealerships will offer you a discount. Take my word for it.

Lotus Yamaha is the newest Yamaha Dealership here, & I have heard that their service is not good (from a Yamaha Official), so you might want to get it serviced elsewhere.

          My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

i'm not sure 'bout Lotus but guys at Pacer are pretty courteous. i get my bike serviced at Pacer and till date i'v had a good exp.

based on the past exp with Orion motors my advice will be to refrain from buying there. i had a horrid time when i picked my bike from them.
