Sharing my 2 cents of experience...
I'd ordered one on last Friday (27-May) evening & I'm sure it got shipped on Saturday from Tiruppur. Its Wednesday now & the shipment has not arrived yet. It only takes less than 10 hours of drive from Tiruppur to Chennai & ideally any shipment should reach next day & it has taken 3 full business days. It was good that I got the tracking number through that I found these details.
Pls don't take this as complaint, its just a feedback as how the courier guys (DTDC) put you back for all the quick & good work that you do. I can wait patiently until it arrives too

We regret for the inconvenience caused to you, the package reached Chennai on Monday May 30th. The DTDC franchise in Thirumullaivoyal was closed due to some reasons. this is the reason why that particular destination was not delivered.
with reference to the tele conversation i had with DTDC Chennai, they assured delivery within 1-2 hours.
