The P200/P220 bigbore block can also be used on the P180. We just finished test fitting one and it works fine

Taking the discussion over e-mail now.
(But, Please Note that I have P180 UG3 and not UG4. Which version of P180 have you tested?)---

Its fits on all versions of the P180. We have already test fitted, cranked and reviewed. Works flawless. 210cc upgrade. Will pass on install instructions when one buys it.
Not for the P150. if you wish to, then you will need to change the head to the P180 atleast. The valve size is too small to give any flow with the larger block.
Power gains are quite massive.sigpic

And what is the future potential after this change? Exhausts, bigger valves/ head, cams, anything from you or Bajaj?
or will this be only possible update to my P180?
EDIT: Actually, I emailed you on your old address which is joel.joesph.jazz or something. Will mail again on joel(at)racecon...Last edited by Samarth 619; 02-17-2012, 07:15 PM.---

we already have 2 bikes in bangalore - P180 v1 and v2 running our P220/200 exhaust and the performance gains are superb.
However, the footrest mounts have to shifted to the P200 type to get the mounts right.sigpic

But does the "calculated length and bend" in making the exhaust match, like you said?Originally posted by Joel View Postwe already have 2 bikes in bangalore - P180 v1 and v2 running our P220/200 exhaust and the performance gains are superb.

I mean, can the exhaust be relied upon for long term?
Or do I need P220's head too for the exhaust to be a long term success?? (Sorry for too many questions). I can get P200's setup anyday so that's not a problem.
I promise that if everything goes smoothly, I'll write such a good review of everything that happened!
(Personally, I'm slightly nervous for the complications involved (gasket, installation, etc.), but I hope I'll find a way somehow...)
Yikes!Originally posted by princesirohi View Postlol, and this thread was about performance kits, other than joel.
Lol! At that time, P180 had nothing. Now there is.
So, it seems Joel is in every mod topic.
All credits to the serious performance products he gives and the genius he is!

would this kit fit any pulsar 180?? as in even the older pre 2006 models??Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

Somes mods are required as Joel said on his last reply, this includes the mounts of the exhaust, and could be possible the main stand mount.. But as he has said, the performance gains are great with or without the bore kit installed.. That means expect atleast 5%-10% gains mininum but since this is a P180 we are talking about the gains might be far better then 10%..
Maybe Joel should explain this better then I can...
