I would pay good money to be able to ride on a track. The sheer thought of not having to look everywhere for psychotic, crazed street riders would probably give me an orgasm! When you can just concentrate on riding, and not worry about bad road conditions, bovine intervention, or idiot riders/drivers, you're bound to push your bike! Also, everyone falls on a bike! When one buys a bike, or any vehicle for that matter, I personally feel one shouldn't buy something one would feel VERY bad about losing. I could buy a second hand sportsbike right now. But i'd shit my pants if I crashed it, but not so with my ZMA.

Saw that on rossiter's 'One.Originally posted by Old Fox View PostViscous drag of the oil inside the gearbox. The input shaft turns when the engine is running and creates a sort of an oil swirl inside the gearbox. this turns the output shaft and so the wheel. Very little torque though through this pseudo hydraulic coupling. You can stop the wheel from turning with a finger.
The general consensus the mechanics, Akhil and me came to was that the clutch adjustment can never be perfect, hence causing the rear-wheel to spin in neutral.
Guess we were slightly off the mark regarding the explanation

i've seen this happen on 220's, but the wheels spin much slower. Good to know why it happens.Originally posted by MavericK46 View PostSaw that on rossiter's 'One.

And you can match your own 600 time on a 1000? So what is the technique of riding a 1000 on that track as fast as the 600s?Originally posted by Killer View PostYup Dilip is the fastest right now, hes doing 1:51's, I'm on a R6, not riding the 1000's, all the top riders are riding in the 600cc classsigpic StreetFighter

To add to OF's explanation, this rotation in neutral will stop once the oil is hotter and thinner. The shaft, and the wheel will stop rotating as a resultOriginally posted by Old FoxViscous drag of the oil inside the gearbox. Sorry for the OT. I am pretty sure it happens in the 'desi' bikes as well. Put on main stand, Let your bike rip a bit. Rear wheel will rotate in neutral.Originally posted by MavericK46 View PostSaw that on rossiter's 'One.
