Wax Polish it is one of the original polishes for professional car care. Its pure carnauba wax formulation is the finest of natural waxes. It provides long lasting protection to the surface. Can be applied on all finishes including metallics. It gently removes dirt and grime to produce a brillant shine. Also cleans wooden, steel furniture, refrigerators etc. Available in 100gm, 200gm, and 500gm tin container.

I wouldnt suggest you this polish for your bike. These are Indian-made polishes. And if not of good quality would ruin ur paint.
There are products to keep each and every part of ur bike clean. There are :
    Car Shampoos
    Body Polishes
    Tyre Polish
    Chrome Polish
    Plastic Polish

The best is Formula One or Turtle Wax. Otherwise even 3M is good.

Can these polishes and shampoes be used on a bike with teflon coating?

          Here is my advice.
DO NOT USE WAXPOL Solid. It will take out the shining after few applications.Waxpol Liquid is better. Otherwise use a polish known as AUTO GLOW.This is little costlier than Waxpol but its worth it.I have beenj applying it on my old bike as well as new bike.If u want something better then do Waxoyl coating for ur bike.It is far better than Teflon coating. For Waxoyl coating they actually give soft machine treatment for ur bike and then give a polish. All the scratches will be removed. If there are any small scratches within a year they will remove it freely.Waxoyl costs abt Rs.575 and Teflon abt Rs.375.
If u stay in Bangalore then Waxoyl coating is done in Popular Motors Jayanagar.

i would suggest u use auto glow or turtle wax.the teflon coating which u have on ur bike wil last some time and when u feel the shine is goin down then wash the bike carefully and see to it the dirt dont leave any circular scratches.use a lot of water(preferably forced through a pipe) and clean it and when its damp use turtle wax and apply it evenly all over and let it remain for 5 min and then clean it off with a cloth. trust me u will get ur shine back.the turtle wax costs rs 395 and its worth it.
btw what colour is ur bike??

Well V12 I remember using this tin thingie... just once about a decade ago. It was very difficult to spread.

That's when we moved to Waxpol Liquid :

                Details here: http://www.waxpol.com/productliquidwaxpolish.html

I found it amazingly easy to use and can be used on almost any surface. It seemed to protect and provide a water repellant and dust repellant properties. And it is a breeze to use...and lasts for very long.

Besides our car and scooters I also used it to polish virtually every metal surface at home.

I was just planning to use it this time too. What do you say about it. Will it damage paint V12? They seem to be in the Polishing business for years!

Should cost below 50 bucks for this bottle... but is it worth spending much more moolah for anything phoren?

even i used to use waxpol on my RXZ.It was good and very easy to use. But foreign products are anytime better. Its better. No risks involved. Amongst the Indian ones 3M is the best. 50 bucks. will easily last for a year.

u can check out the shine of my bike at our modded bikes.
                    That bike is 2years old.
And i always used waxpol. tried almost every polish.
But i found this polish cheap and best.

I am also using this polish for my RD for the last 7 years.
This polish did a good job.

                          Hey v-12.

I too bught Formula 1 liquid. It has a lot of gyan bout Brazilian Carnauba Wax being the hardest wax on earth and how it helps prevent scratches and all.

I bought a huge yellow 473 ML bottle for 200 (bargained from 250). And I also got a free pouch of car wash shampoo+wax with it.

Well A 150 ML bottle of Waxpol liquid costs 48, so I guess paying 200 for a 473 ml (more than thrice the size) bottle of F-1 was not much of a premium. I wax my bike on Thursday!

Well this is the polish I bought! The big Bottle one.

Yesterday i spent 3 hours waxing my bike. Well three hours since it was the first time. I guess the next time it'll take much longer. It has been ages since I last polished (the car and the scooters at home). Was fun and worth the effort.

All surfaces are super smooth and slippery now so the dust can just be whisked away with just a swoosh of the duster.

I covered all surfaces I could: Paint, Chrome, Acrylic (fairing), mirror glass, smooth plastic, painted gearbox etc etc. The only places where it could create a trouble is the rough plastic parts, because you cannot buff the polish that applied and settled down here.

And I did one more amazing thing. Use Black Cherry Blossom Liquid Wax polish for the tyre sidewalls and black plastic panels such as the rear mudguard and the rear of the mirrors. Saves the plastic from fading and looking ugly.

My bike was gleaming last nite, I ouly wish I could take some pics but coundn't get hold of my friend's digicam. But the finish will last so I can take the pics later.

                              Will coat again soon!
