Yes fine, so lets add a performance exhaust also to the list. Removing the CAT is not the right approach. I'll be building one of my bike soon, probably the first R15 with a tuned exhaust on streets.

i have already seen one in BW that one was sure from JC road.. i think pramod was with me that day. it was dual color exhaust
Even just a chamber in the 2 stroke cant make wonder some things to be changed.. The thing is 2-stroke is a not so complex engine so changes required are minimal but 4-stroke engine is complex so requires more tweaking but not lot

. So kudos to Joel for starting this interesting thread. Now if you ask me what extra bits I expected from the Yamaha guys for my R15, I could mainly think of just one important thing- Crash Bobbins. Although Yamaha have done a commendable job at keeping the cost of the fibre parts reasonable, they should defi provide crash bobs to protect the fairing during crashes. I have already spoken to the main regional manager at the Yamaha showroom- Wakdewadi, Pune in regards to the same.
