    What is mean by ecothrust?

    Dear guys,

    I have seen a sticker in TVS phoenix in muffler it is mentioned as "ECOTHRUST" but i dont know what does it mean can anyone please say what does it indicate

      I don't know what it means. But if I have to guess at its naming, I'd say muffler has got some design to help exhaust gases fart out so quickly so that it provides some amount of thrust to push the bike to move about. And at the same time this thrust is all free meaning without burning additional fuel, so calling it 'Eco'.

      We do observe this ecothrust with us when we go to eat at super cheap dhaba.

        eco-thrust is a dynamic tunning technology that helps to regulate the flow of petrol to the engine for a proper balance between power and economy.

            The TVS Says that it as ECOTHRUST engine. so it may only depend on engine may be prince sirohi answers ok. but till now i dont know. but if that is it, what may be the part that they have added to regulate the flow of fuel.

              Hehe..now ecothrust, must be inspired by eco boost.
              I would not worry too much about apdv s, ccpv s, twin spark, triple spark or some other fancy name given to engine.unless the said technology gives clear cut advantage in power output or cut emmissions by some folds its pretty much just a tunning job they have done.
              I m quite sure this ecothrust would be giving half a NM of torque difference to other same segment bikes , which ofcourse is quite undetectable in a ride

                may be but i dont hope there may be any torque differenece. but the bike makes a fell good to ride like a higher cc segments, may be it makes the difference in this catagory.
