mph,it should work bout after 90-100 kmph.also the induction unit has to be of a good design.rash i thought of the fan too,but the volume of air required will be much greater than what the fan can pull.

Unit pro link is not a single sided swing arm ....UNIT PRO LINK is the linkage system patented by Honda in which the rear mono shock on their motogp , 600RR nd 1000RR bikes is mounted directly to the swing arm
rather than by using linkages as some other manufactures use.. this in theory reduces the upsetting the chassis by the action of the rear shock
down side is that it makes the system rather heavy which one can see when
we see the dry weight figures of the new 1000rr and the 600rrblade both of which are heavier than the 954 blade and the old 600F4i

              I can...good work satya.
But I dont think it will make much diff. if we force the air into the airbox, I think we should force the air directly to the carb. What do u think Rajnish ?

no man.. connection to carb is not possible rash..
incase water gets in.. dats da end man..[}]
                [}][}]
or keep the workin temp high enuff 2 vaporise water
but dis wont work during rains ..

one more thing we can do is MAKE an airbox with a k&n air filter fitted to it
                im sure dis will work..
                wot say techies??????

                  Hey ppl,
First of all, RAM Air effect can be expoited any if u reach speeds of 150+ Kmph, which i can assure u is not possible in our bikes except probably the RD. and supercharging will ruin ur engine to a great extent.
i'm not shure 'bout supercharging, but i think what schematics sathya posted was for turbocharging used in sumo's and such.confirm it will u?

don't even think bout letting air into your carb's intake.....dust will go in and ruin the engine....i've tried it...it also reduces the power drastically....don't ever think bout it....i can swea by my ruined cylinder and piston....
                    cheers

lets see that diagram guys....for driving that fan accordin to the revs we can run it using the exhaust gasses....it well cost a lot though..
what i'm talkin bout is turbo effect...i've seen it on a british bike...it will work...the exhaust will rotate a fan...the fan will be connected to another fan in the inlet...and bang we have turbo...its not that simple though....very very tough and costly....try it if some one of can....
                      cheers

well the so called ram air works even for bikes like my kinetic..
i ran my bike without the airbox cover.. but it was sluggish at first..
tuned it a little rich and voila.. power was good although could take it only to 75 kmph.. but had to fix it back coz it was too noisy ..

i mean the RAM Air effect ???
                            i am not joking guys...
                            very serious abt it
will keep on trying things to boost power untill i get a Superbike

I'm sure Ram air would work also on Indian bikes.

                                this is the case:
Originally the engine has to suck in the air mixture. After fitting it with RamAir, the fuel mixture would be forced in. that reduces the strain for the engine. so the power output would be better.

                                My idea on this is:
                                1. Dont remove the original air filter. Leave it as it is. just make the air gush directly into the original air filter.
                                2. Try fitting in that fan, as on the picture, directly from the output of the coil. that output would be directly proportional to the enginr revs. that would give you a better result.

                                Ruin the Road...
