And moreover Bajaj is at least giving out something stylish in a sub 150CC class.
I agree... the bike is actually meant for the commuter class. Just for the record how one can check out the number of posts in XBHP in the 125 cc category.. there isn't much activity even in the "Honda CBF Stunner" threads.

Most of the guys who will buy these bikes don't participate much in XBHP, but then these are the type of customers which brings in the sales numbers for a manufacturere in India. Neglect them at ones own peril.

At 43-47K (Ex-Showroom) and the level of equipment that the bike comes packed with, it seems to be good value for money. Even the looks seem to have grown up compared to the XCD 125. But then will the Splendor/Passion wallah succumb to it..??

I dont think they would succumb to the new XCD. It is all because HH has a strong rep among the customers of this class of bikes. Almost every HH fan will say that although bajaj gives more VFM, they lack quality and blah..blah...
            So its all about that.

The bike would definitely have to prove its quality.. no doubt about that.
Compared to the first batch of P150/180, the current batches of the P150/P180/P200/P220 are much improved.

The Splendors/Passions also have an advantage of being one of the oldest brand in the market. According to me even the TVS Flame hasn't quite made the mark so far which its "Victor" had once managed to do.

But it doesn't mean that things can't change. "Change is after all the only constant"

THe Sprint edition which was displayed in the AUTO Expo was really a Eye catcher - and would have been a good seller for bajaj.......

But this is really an Scramble ---- The desighn engineers of bajaj are really been employed from other Planets it seems --- as their recent Two modifcations on Dioscover and XCD shows that they are Out of Planet Bugs...........

For people who are confusing it with XCD Sprint this is not the bike showcased in Auto Expo.XCD Sprint will most probably come sometime later in the year.

For a bike of the size of XCD 135 the disc of 200mm is more than capable of stopping the bike.If you guys are talking only about looks then it does look small.

may be bajaj will not launch the sprint this might be it and wheres the sonic showcased in 2004 auto expo.i have taken a test drive of the bike the bikes smooth and has got a 5th cog and all the features matching the pulsar its a tempting machine, compared to the discover a logo missing on the front fairing it has a fatter tyre and might be a better option instead of going for the base version of dicover
