Can't actually term it as paranoid.
My biggest problem is I look too young for a 22 year old.
Cops still ask me if I have a valid licence or not. xD Even If the first thing I did after my 18th birthday was getting a Driving licence.
Just some days ago I was riding and I heard a cop on a signal talking with another cop by pointing out to me and saying "Iske paas toh licence bhi nai rahega, dekho".
That's why I'm so hell bent on getting the right information. xD

You already got the answer from a cop, why are you getting it confirmed again and again now. Will you confirm it with every state police now?
Doesnt matter if you look 17 or 70, they have the duty of checking papers, and you have the right to question them on wrong quote of acts.
So just take a chill pill and enjoy your rides, because you would either ride with an apprehension everytime of getting questioned or stopped.

In this case, there's no explicit law banning action cams (yet)! Some places as mentioned in my previous post are exempted. You should have voice recorded the cop's response in your phone, or better yet - have him hand it to you in writing/video.

Save yourself the trouble. You're just 22 and hence you're hungry to justify the feeling of being wronged. Let it go! Enjoy your rides.

If you guys support I'll file petition on change.org which will send it to Mr. Nitin Gadkari MoS Roadways to issue that using action cam is safe and does not harm national security.

I think I would be worth a try because cops these days are kind of too old to understand the gadgets and have the stubborn mindset of whatever they say is right. Also you can't complain about them as there no such procedures, if there's any you know it's better to say it's nonexistent, we are a huge community so with our strength they'll have to think about it as it's just like a panic ballon that's waiting to explode in sometime.

I would support this move. I can get a few friends to sign up too. One concern I have is the police using section 353 to charge people who are recording their antics. If we can get the Ministry to issue a guideline for this then it would be amazing.

Central Government Act: Section 353 in The Indian Penal Code

Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty.—Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person being a public servant in the execution of his duty as such public servant, or with intent to prevent or deter that person from discharging his duty as such public servant, or in consequence of anything done or attempted to be done by such person in the lawful discharge of his duty as such public serv*ant, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

Know the laws - you can't be charged with IPC 353 for using an action cam.

And I do know a few moto vlogger but let's see if they look into this or revert. You can try putting your message across to moto vlogger on their Facebook page. I think they will revert and they will take it up in their vlogs as well.

Also, moto vloggers or rather other vloggers are all kind of connected is what I feel (through fanfest etc). They could spread the word amongst each other and help the cause.. Try it given you seriousness towards the topic.

I contacted top 10 moto vloggers of India and none of them came forward to help. I think it's all branding for them now.
