Re: I know I am a better rider

You sir just won my respect and kudos

If only more and more people learn to respect the traffic rules and apply some amount of common sense , the amount of accidents on Indian roads will drastically reduce .

I personally feel like taking the mobiles of anyone using them while driving or riding and snapping the sim card ( phone would be better , but costlier and more of a rash decision ) and handing it over to those losers who dont value their own lives , let alone someone elses .

Also , cant we have some strict rules like the middle east , where they fine a ridiculous amount and whip you in public of an act like Driving Under Influence or Jumpin a Red Light .

In Noida (Ulta Pradesh), the stress of riding/driving on the road is way higher than in Delhi , where people have atleast some sense of the rules and not every other person is going the wrong way ( I hate that the most ) .

Anyways .... Kudos and Respect to you again

    Ride safe and Cheers !

    :: peace ::

Thanks for the kind words Ajeet... In a few Middle Eatern countries, they have the concept of yearly registration/road tax. So, all the traffic violations/fines get added up and when the person goes for year end registration process, he is presented with a katccha chittha of his year-round activities. This solves three purposes:

      1. A person does not know if he is getting fined or not at the instant of violating traffic rule. Due to the fear of the unknown, he is more inclined not to violate the rules.
      2. As all the fines get accumulated, the one time burden is huuuge.... Once a person pays that huge amount, he'll never break any law again.
      3. Yearly registration/road tax payment solves the problem of inter-state vehicle transfer in a country like ours.

On the Noida traffic, I completely agree with you. The traffic is so bad that you can tell if you are in Delhi or have reached Noida just by looking at the traffic . I wonder how can the same person follow rules in Delhi and end up being an a****e in Noida!
Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

        Most welcome rachit

The concept of yearly registration / road tax does seems quite sensible and should be implemented in India .... but given the sheer amount of population , multiplied with the efficiency of the government babus and the mentality of the general masses , it might be a bit problematic in terms of free flow functioning.

But then , that's a way better approach to such things ... Indians should definately learn a thing or two from the Middle East

As for the Delhi and Noida traffic contrast .... haha , No Comments ! :-p

And to top it up , add Gurgaon to create a deadly and potent trifecta of traffic problems :: faceplam ::

Hats off buddy, that was a real real real mature thing you did there. I just wish too that this craze for overtaking a big bike would stop. Tired of slowing down or even stopping when ppl just try to show how a tvs fiero (stock) even though being a beautiful bike can be faster than mine. Technically it can't. But they just don't get the point. Besides I guess rx riders have a huge wound created whenever they see ktms. Randomly pulls out of nowhere and starts zigzagging. On the other side I have seen amazing riders on the same bikes with gear ride sane. Basically it's the bikers not the bikes am pointing out here so please don't take me wrong.
