i was listening to FM radio today and they were talking about World MOtorBike Week that is currently going on and they also have a rest-your-bike campaign going on where the RJ himself would drop one guy a day to his office (and back home too) so that that lucky guy can give a day's rest to his bike. NIce
. Tune into 94.3 for more details.

If it works out I guess we will soon see the dawn of the bike-pooling era!10 Commandments:

I don't think anything of this sort exists for the whole world. Its obvious actually. Otherwise wouldn't we xbhpians know about it ?? Since xbhp is already an influential biking fraternity in India, you guys could create a day yourself as National Motorcyclist Day and keep celebrating over the years until the day gets serious national recognition.
Like in the USA May is the National Bike Month for bicyclists...The internet also tells me about a World Naked Bike Day that last happened on 14 June, 2008.
A little info about this wierd event from the internet...
During World Naked Bike Day, in cities around the world, people will be riding naked to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency and car culture. The first World Naked Bike Ride was held on 12 June 2004 when 58 cyclists rode naked through London's Hyde Park. The police were tolerant and there were no arrests, and the public enjoyed the event. At the Hyde Park ride, nearly a dozen clothed cyclists were inspired to disrobe spontaneously and join the leisurely nude ride. The event has continued to grow in popularity and in 2007 1,000 people rode through London.

yeah good idea if their is no such day existing in the world's calendar then we can actually declare one and then all over the country we can celebrate it every year....
