When is the World Motorcycle Day?

    @Sunny: What a coincidence? I have been looking for this World Motorcycle Day this past half and hour through google and found xbhp thread.
    And what about XBHP DAY? If we don't have one yet, we can perhaps fix the day xbhp started. What do you say Sunny? Perhaps the Mods and the XXX team can have an official disucssion on this.


    @all: Any idea of the Indian Motorcylce Day or International Motorcycle Day?

    Well here are few Social and Environmental Days celebrated all over the world. Perhaps a rally through biking can be organised to create awareness.

    • World Aids Day - 1st December
    • International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - 25th November
    • The International Day of Peace - 21st September.

    • International Day of Democracy - 15th September
    • World Humanitarian Day - 19th August
    • International Dance Day - 29th April

    • World Hello Day - 21st November

        I guess we should really celebrate 24th November as "WORLD MOTORCYLCE DAY".

        Perhaps xBhp should initiate this event and let the world (including the UN) take notice of this dedication and respect to Sir Sylvester Howard Roper.

        Sunny Bhai, what do you have to say regarding this? This would be one of the coolest thing that the whole motorcycling world would take notice.

          1. Indian Motorcycle day(xbhp day) - When XBHP was founded?

          2. International Motorcycle Day - 24th November?? or the day on which he first made the bike/invented??

            wow.. World Motorcycle Day... sounds very interesting and exciting. We can decide a date which is of great importance to the world and announce it as the WMD (world motorcycle day) also it would be a great thing to have a XBHP day too. Sunny listening .!!

                That's a great idea of World Motorcycle Day! A day for all the bikers around the world to celebrate. And ofcourse we can have an xBhp day too.

                  I seriously think would agree to 24th November to be celebrated as world's motorcycle day around the world. None of the motorcycle clubs around the world has ever celebrated this occassion. Its up to us to promote it, to initiate it and to respect the founder of Motorcycles!

                        xbhp.com celebrates its Birthday on 26th June. Back in 2003 on this day Mr Sandeep Gajjar a.k.a Sunny had registered this domain name.
                        We at Pune and Mumbai did celebrate the xbhp birthday last year.It was xbhp's 6th Birthday.

                              I thought World Motorcycle Day will be celebrated ALL OVER THE WORLD with a common understanding and a date choosen by all Motorcyclist around the world. If not all motorcyclist, at least all the associations, clubs leaders would contribute.

                              Anyway, looks like a gud day for Meghalaya xBhpians. Though we might not be celebrating on the 14th but surely this 15th May. wooo hoooo another reason to celebrate and party!

                                During World Naked Bike Day, in cities around the world, people will be riding naked to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency and car culture. The first World Naked Bike Ride was held on 12 June 2004 when 58 cyclists rode naked through London's Hyde Park. The police were tolerant and there were no arrests, and the public enjoyed the event. At the Hyde Park ride, nearly a dozen clothed cyclists were inspired to disrobe spontaneously and join the leisurely nude ride. The event has continued to grow in popularity and in 2007 1,000 people rode through London.

                                Hahaha. IMHO even though I am aware of this, the way the snippet is described. LMFAO. People are waiting to disrobe anywhere.
