Re: Who's at the fault ?
I assume ABS is taken care by Electronics. Malfunction of abs could get the brakes locked.Originally posted by deejayrox View PostRest in peace. I'm from virar, and I have seen this MV. Such an unfortunate turn of events.
I guess it's all hearsay, but how can electronic malfunction lead to a wheel lock. Does not seem possible.
But this is a strange case. So many theories. If wheels locked, the bike would have gone through a lot of damage. Here it is evident that there were minor scratches on the bikeSplendor - 2k to 2006

Re: Who's at the fault ?
Wont wheel lock cause the bike to somersault?
From the photos it looks like that bike hit the side of the wall/barrier.
I feel that there is information missing.
What if the brakes did not apply at all?
That would explain the scratches at the side of the bike.Hero Honda Splendor (June 2001- Present)

Re: Who's at the fault ?
There would be speculations as usual. From people riding with him, 2 different theories has spawned : his wheels locked due to an electronic failure (which he complained about in the past twice) and another theory says that he overshot a curve at speed.
But the main reason for his passing was that his helmet was not buckled.
Rest, we don't have much to discuss upon, unless we have concrete evidence. R.I.P brother.
Regarding the bike, malfunctioning MV or not, it is never regarded as a reliable bike anyways, be it electronics or mechanicals.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!
