I have faced it. I have a 1 lac 1k km run passion pro 2010 model. Still running. The panel quality of post 2007 bikes is pathetic. The sparkplug cap gives up very soon causing the vehicle to stall in rains. I occasionally take it for 300+km rides with a suzuki Shogun, rx135 5speed and rtr200 as company. It keeps up beautifully with these beasts. Continuously cruising at 80-90km even with a pillion. I am yet to see a 100-110cc bike from another brand to do this.

Bajaj is the king in spare parts availability. But now hero is being serious about spares. From a small nut to the bore kit of karizma, you can get or order whatever you want you can get it from the smallest of dealerships. If not then just mail a complain and they would reach upto you within a week. It's the situation in Kerala and I don't know about other states. Also they have launched hgpmart. Com where you can get most of the parts online.

Zapps bro, I am not a hero fanboy. I've not suggested a hero bike/scooter to anyone in ages. Post 2014, from the ebr-karizmas to the new glamour and achiever are all prime examples of hideous designs. Atleast they are improving aesthetics with the 200cc range.

Hero products have a commuter soul- partially true. Almost all hero bikes have drastic midrange improvement over their honda counter parts. Achiever is faster than unicorn. Cbz/hunk are as fast as the hornet. First generation karizma is still close to a rtr200 in acceleration. Even the splendor/passion are faster than the honda dream series. They lack initial pull but can do 60-90 all day and dont loose breath at top end.

Talking about honda, in 2k17 I visited 4 honda dealerships in two cities to get a test ride of the hornet for a friend. Everywhere they had the same reply. "We don't have any TD bikes but we can provide you one if you book the bike". The statement speaks about their attitude towards customers. The lack of a kill switch and using basic low quality switch gear for products like hornet shows hondas arrogance.

I live in an emerging township and just said what I see almost everyday ( There are hero, bajaj, honda and yamaha dealers just 50mtrs away from my house[emoji6]). Still the xpulse 200 is the only exciting product in heros line up. Hope they provide more power for this versatile machine.

Guys let's cut this talk short and focus on the topic, please post more pictures of the Xpulse.

The rim and spoke rusting issue has been completely solved by Hero, it was present in a certain batch and the owners have been called up, whole wheel replaced.

The quality on the motorcycle is top notch. Just my few cents.

Guys, Xpulse is an awesome bike, heck if it was available last year, I'd have considered it. Sadly though, it was only Xtreme 200R at the time and no Hero dealership gave me call back or TD at launch, even when I had followed up for months before the launch. Sadly, the initial reviews mad it clear it didn't have a good top end - commuter soul. But yeah, dealerships' attitude varies a lot.

My Bajaj dealer from whom I bought had the best sales experience while I go to the other Bajaj service centre for better Service experience.

Here you go, guys n gals. Bought it. I dont regret one bit, it does commute comfortably, i dont slow down on speed bumps anymore.
Now that i ride the xpulse200, i often look for dirt, gravel or pothole riddled roads.
