      For any problems with your CBZs.... there is a mechanic in Royapuram in Chennai... he works only with CBZs... and he is so far the best I have seen... His name is Mani...

        in reality world some of the tech rn't so necessary reason being their demeanor.....

        if the bike have say 250cc r 500 cc these tech r valuable.

        even today splendor have good sales charts (even though they see some hiccups in selling the bikes)

        see the RE transformation from simple tech to high tech but they couldn't yield results that being the way of tech used...

        if some body doesn't speak it doesn't mean they dumb they know when to speak & shout for instance yamaha...........

        keep on singing song is the way of honda, keep on chattering is the way of baja

          @dual disc 200- atleast my bike doesnt've such broken mufflers and crampy gear box.
          I dont deny the fact that bajaj is coming out with great tech these days, even am happy tat an INDIAN company is competing like this,but the only thing it lacks is reliablility,durability..

          @rx100.7050- some 8 of my friends own pulsars, two guys take care of it very well,regular service,no hard ripping,decent handling but their silencers broke wen it was just a year after they bought. how do u explain this??? other ppl have prob with their gear boxes, false gears all the time and rough knocking sounds when shifting gears.

            S, in reality my 48+ stock pulsar 150 with stock engine is smoother and feels better than your Honda uni....!!! You have to consider the amount of ripping i do.

              just ur bike and some 100 bike,,,,who say their bike r good here & there.... u mentioned abt engine wat abt rest of the things.......like dynamics (everything)...

              if there are only 1000 uni sold through out the nation only one bike used to fail............but what abt bajaj..........

              the bike which left the factory & called themselfs the performance bike classic 180 had a heavy & faulty gear shifting problems wat do u say that is it a engineering????????????

              y u brought a R15 for track use y u can't use ur pulsar........but i can do w/o any hesitation.....can u say a word like this....

                    Please don't try to Degrade any bike or for that fact a brand. Bajaj has served the nation with its scooter for so long and Pulsar had become a Brand of youth when no company was interested in introducing new genes of biking in India.There are Niggles in every bike , no matter what ever brand they belong to.

                    Respect every bike whether you own it or not .

                        see there is no intention to degrade any of the bike their bike owner.......

                        this is just the view & perception of all the bikes not focused on a single brand......

                        this isn't a brand war every body no honda is the best & their products don't fail............

                          I'm thinking of modifying my CBZ*, looks and performance enhancements are my goal. I'm in chennai. Dheer, can you give me the contact info/exact location of that mechanic? Or anyone else if you happen to know any place to get the bike modification work done in chennai, do let me know.

                            if it is old model cbz then replace the original crank with that from ambition should increase your pick up as the crank is lighter than stock one....used to be a popular mod some time back
