Yes. I didn't have single scratch on me.
    Haha. Lesson learnt already.
In fact I was leading the whole ride. only in that 2/3km stretch I was following the blade.

I bought Cramster stuff over the phone. They are pretty good. Buy yourself a Mesh jacket with CE certified armour. I had sent one such jacket to Calcutta to Simba. Don't know if you know him.
Ya Cramsters do take mail orders both online and via phone !! But its just that sometimes pple might want to try a jacket out and then buy one. He just wants to put up stalls at various places to give pple that option.

Also his jackets are made with UK sizes, while DSG is US. So a DSG XL might be a lil bigger than Cramster. So it'd be a better for some pple to get the exact fit.

But I'd agree with everyone here, one shud get a jacket in any means possible. Cramster just wants to make it more accessible to places which do not have te usual stores !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

What is the difference between Mesh and Maze?

Sir, Are you pulling a fast one on me

For the benefit of the rest, Mesh is a breathable material. Mesh jackets are usually meant for Summer Rides.
Its a mesh! something like a net that doesnt make you become a mess in heats

The Maze I was referring too is a Mesh Jacket from DSG! I think I should buy one cause my Shift jacket has taken a battering yesterday!

Thats right, Maze is the brand name of DSGs mesh jacket. I have one and I feel really comfortable in them during hot conditions. But the damn thing cant take a drop of rain. Wear a rain coat on top of it. With the monsoons coming up and my back recovering, I'm sure I will be riding with the rain coat on.

Hey Jonak, I was more worried about your bike man. Damn, that think took a beating. Why isn't Karizma provided with crash guards as standard I wonder? One small drop and you loose a fairing. Pretty sad.

No point in telling those buggers about all these things. They have never gone outside Kalyani.
Instead of going to Mumbai, I will better ask you to bring a Maze jacket for me.
I have to spend close to 3000INR (rest will be paid by insurance) to restore her to original condition. The total bill will go above 10K if I want to change everything that are scratched. Insurance is giving 50% for plastic parts and 95% for metal parts. But, at this point of time I am not changing anything as they say I have to keep my bike at least for 25 days in their service center as they have to order parts of Red ZMA. The bike is running fine. Only have got a new gear lever. Will go for a touch up soon. Total cost will be close to 500INR.

good to hear that you are safe. Get rid of the engine cowl and fix a cbz xtreme crashguard. it's worth as far as saving the stupid and expensive plastics are concerned.

                            Cheers,
