Been to the yamaha showroom... saw the custom paints and looks yuck.... but the good thing is that disc is coming on std colours also for an additional of 4.5 K... thats good news.. but for the same price you can have a unicorn...

Performance is not really good.. better than the 100cc only... top speed on the speedo is 100kph and with full blasting i got 50kpl on my friends bike.... bike has been runin only for 1700kms.... good commuter and the yamaha name...

A PBK will be a PBK,even if it comes with a disk brake and electric start.

the new fazer looks really sexy, kewl...and it's not the price of a pulsar, it's more a unicorn in pune....pulsar is priced for bout 50,000 Rs. (ex-showroom)

i got a fazer and have a 16" 130/90 at the rear .... :-( did effect the top speed but i can still get a 105Kph !! think with the normal wheels it would get somewhere around 115Kph ... trust me at 105 Kph it is as steady as a rock .. not sure whether it is the Mag or the 130/90 or the bike itself which is so composed !!!!

Changed the headlight too .. so i am off the sin of riding the insect on the road .... it is a very good commuter bike !! very smooth and composed .... unfortunately i have lost the charm of biking in city conditions because of the F***ing traffic .... i can hardly get a 80Kph and very rarely 90Kph and most of the time 40Kph ... not checked the mileage yet .. hope to be getting 50Km/ltr using BP speed !!

change the headlight and you would get a piece of art nicely sculpted .. i am sure anybody who has seen a Yam Fazer125 has no doubts on that !!! as far as the engine is concerned ... it's very smooth with a pretty good response for a 125cc engine ... it is a crime to compare it with a 150 dtsi engine .. both of them are different classes all together !!

moral of the story : i am pretty happy with my bike !! after all a bike is a bike !!! some defy the law of physics while some justify the economics of the current financial year rest is ur choice
