Dint check the link, but replying to the quote you have made.
Some people have the habit of keeping their foot on the clutch while driving, in order to brake quickly in case of emergency. They believe that the foot is not pressing the clutch but in actual scenario, its not so. The clutch is very slightly pressed. And which should be obvious, it gets burned due to this action.
My dad had this habit initially, due to which my Zen's clutch was burned within 50K kms. I have made him change the habit now with constant reminders.Never be a part of the crowd !!!

then what are we supposed to do..
these policemen know how to mint money from us....they will find some or the other way to do so, and if one tries to prove his innocence he is warned by the policemen to pay more for some pitty causes they will tell you in order to make you silent.
then what to do in these circumstances,if we are normal people with no powers.??????????????

Traffic rules and regulations
Hi members,
I have noticed several bikers in India lack the knowledge of the traffic rules and regulations. I was living in Australia and learned quite a bit about the traffic rules. As we drive in India in the same side as Australia, I would like to share some interesting and commonly unknown rules about how to ride/drive correctly.
1. First is roundabouts or roundana, when we enter a roundabout, we should check whether anyone is already in the roundabout and at our right side too. If so, allow them to pass. We can enter the roundabout then. Keep your indicators on if you are going to take right, left or u turn. If going straight, no need for indicators.
2. Whenever changing lane, use appropriate indicator. Also, if you are changing lane because of a parked vehicle in your current lane, indicate so that the vehicle behind you can be alert and they can switch lanes too. Switch on the indicator at least 3 seconds earlier to allow other vehicles to react. Switch it off(if needed) after completing the lane change. Same goes for a turn. Do not turn on the indicator at the last second and expect other vehicles to give way to you or avoid hitting you.
3. Do not tailgate a vehicle closely. Always maintain a safe distance to avoid crashing on sudden brake.
4. Be careful when overtaking a four wheeler from left as it is illegal and also the driver may not notice you.
5. When turning right in a small road, do not come to the left end of the road and then take right. Stop in the middle of the road with indicators on, wait for the vehicles in the right lane to pass and then go right.
6. Line at the middle of the road is for a reason. If it is dotted, you can go to the right lane while overtaking. If it is a gapless line, you should not go right beyond the line at any time. You can see this gapless lines in turns. Always stay to the left of the line when there is a turn.
Will keep adding points as I remember them.
Regards
