        Praveen,happy to find here man....
And yes, everything depends on your driving style and your weight.
Praveen (lord_moonraker) knows me personally and ofcourse he knows that i weigh a hefty 103 kg's.(that's my dry weight).I believe mine gives the best mileage in Tvm.
My zma is capable of achieving a top speed of 130 Kms on the speedo.
Now u guys think about it hard.
And Mr. Nikhil,i don't think this article is misleading.its from my real life experience
And may be it may not be right for all bikes.
For a few like yours,it can be wrong.

I am hurt that somebody said that my ZMA has a problem [V]

I dont think my bike has a mileage problem, coz I havent checked what mileage it gets and I dont care. I usualy do a calculation based on 20kpl and listening to others claim of mileage I have now changed it to 30kpl

I have never bought this bike for mileage. I could have taken a splendor. Just for riding, for pleasure, for the feel of wind @120kph, to reach your destination thousands of km away and still feel like riding more.

          regards

              Mr. Ayush,

Sir, I have a Karizma too.

I'm not doubting the fact that the inidcative rpm readings which you've given for certain speeds are wrong.

But if you were to slightly use your brains, you would realise that the fuel mixture ratio really has nothing to do with your rpm/kmph reading ...

              Get my drift?

Ayush tell us first what does rpm stand for. And the reasons why different bikes have different rpms at one speed. Gonna be educationally funny.

i don't know anyone who achieved above 45 kmpl.

nikhil, i agree that am not that much indulged in the art of tuning...
i touch my carb very rarely..

let me do some research and will submit the reply 4 ur question.

and rohit why do you ask me questions like these?
                        like kids do?
any way please educate me on the question you asked me?

i mistake i did was that i published what i came to know about.

i agree totally with nikhil. i think ayush is a newbie on a new karizma. ayush dude, you've got a lot to learn before you actually realize what topic you actually started !

and by the way, we would really like to have a word with your reliable company source. I say you have just faked it up to open a new topic. lol ... hehe

                            peace man !

                              dude,
i got the info from the service Er of HH, Cochin.-Mr Kannan.
                              You guys may contact him @ 0484 2374 503, or Fax him@ 0484 2350 705.
                              e-mail him @ [email protected].
u see guys,i never faked up anything in my life.am doing business, and am well known here for my staight forward style of Business.if ever you come down here to Thiruvananthapuram, you enquire in the business community here(especially Construction and Electronics) and then you will come to know about my goodwill.
am straight forward and i recommend matters to somebody else only if i check it out myself and only when am pretty shure about it.
about the topic, from my experience,it is true.i don't know whether it is applicable to everybody.
the hard fact is that, i am getting the best mileage in TVM.
you see, speed is not the objective here.the real objective is understanding your bike better.riding her the exact way she likes it.LOVING AND CARING HER LIKE YOUR WIFE...
it may seem weird to you.no one ever rode any of my bikes except me.-my Yezdi 250,suzuki fiero,TVS Victor,Fiero F2,and last,my zma.
and i still retain all the said bikes. And my beauties never failed me.
The amazing fact is that i never asked my dad to buy me a bike.
at the age of 15,me and my best friend rode to Bangalore on his RX 100- just 720 kms one side-not even telling my mom abt it- that was in 1994.and since then there was no looking back.
i do all the maintenence of my bikes except carb tuning and other major engine jobs.
i don't have the need to fake up some thing and start up some topic in a community like xbp.com.
am happy that iam in a community full of like minded people(i mean gr8 Riders),but i regret that i came 2 know abt it very late.
very shortly, i will be moving to the super bike community.i don't have to declare to anybody what am going to do.
                              I just said so because
Mr Tarun Said:"i think ayush is a newbie on a new karizma. ayush dude, you've got a lot to learn before you actually realize what topic you actually started !"

TarunJi aap zara rukiye kyonki mein bahut saara kms dekh chuka hoom.
aur bhi bahut dekhnae vaala hoom.chaho to K2K kar saktaa hoom-voh bhi akela.meim to abhi company vaalom se baat kar raha hoom,ho sake to hum milenge tumhare shehar meim.

that's all for now,and before you accuse anybody, just do a study on him by seeing his words and his method of replying on xbhp!

hi aysuh, i just sent an email to mr. kannan. with a list of problems generally encountered in the karizma. also asked him towards the end as to how to make out whether our bike was "in a perfect state of tune" or not.

you surely are an amzaing person. with more experience than any of us on this forum.

one word of advice, stay away from mr. kannan. also keep your bike away from him. why you ask? read mine and rohit's previous posts and you will understand.
