Dude.. Bajaj Allianz has cashless clams facility. Call insurance company on their toll free no. 1800225858 and let them know of the news of the crash. rest all is taken care of by insurance company. you only have to pay difference amount (total bill-insurance compensation) not the entire amount. This was the reason i even switched my car insurance from tata AIG to Bajaj Allianz.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

For insurance claims u need to pay first and then they send you a check later.

Same happened with me last year when i had a major accident. But yes the amount which i got back was very disappointing as i had expected more. They just gave me some 6800 for a bill of 12k +?
They had all excuses for metal parts and fibre parts and the time for purchase of bike.

Not necessary that you have to pay first, these days most of the Companies have Cashless facility. Even Tata Aig has Cashless claims facility, I know because most of my cars are insured with Tata Aig. New India Assurance on the other hand does not have cashless claim facility, here you have to pay the service guy first & then they re-imburse the amount to you.

Guys, thank u for all ur inputs, but sadly i've already paid for everything and the work is in progress, at that time Bajaj Allianz didn't have cashless claim facility, thats what made me wait for so long. Plus as I'm kind of modifying the bike in terms of 220's forks and clip-on's and stuff, it's almost impossible for any insurance company to look into that for claims. So, the way i chose was finish all the work and submit the bill and it's on the progress now.

For cars they have cash-less claim facility.

For bikes they are asking us to settle the bill and then claim for it.

Is Bajaj Allianz Insurance giving cash less claims for bikes, pls confirm. I gotta make a decently handsome claim now.

Sorry dude, no more pics till Monday as the workshop is closed for diwali. The re-build is like a 200 housing all the parts of the bigger brother 220 except for the front fairing which i don't like much. As i already have a 220's rear disc assembly, i'm just plonking 220's front forks and clip-ons on to the 220 and the color scheme is all black and only the rear wheel in off-white as shown in the pics. The approximate time will be before next thursday or so.
