                    its all in the sound of it
                    1. R15 (sounds superbike like)
                    2. Shogun (sounds jap and sounds good)
                    3. RX100(a class bike and a class name )
                    4. Eliminator(ooh thats Mean)
                    5. Pulsar(common but a good name and everyone one pronounces it right )

                    now comes the comedy scene
                    1. Glamour (is it a bike or a freakin' fashion mag)
                    2. Hunk (HUNK !!! what the funk)
                    3. Passion (sure sounds like a condom, so USE CONDOM)
                    4. Byk (yeik ! And Byk is a bike just for the sake of it )
                    5. Karizma( it dosnt do justice at all to the cult and the kind of bike it is..i own one so i know...i really hate it when kids see it and pronounce it karishma, Grrrr)
                    Biking is the ultimate addiction, cocaine is just powder.

                      I think this thread should survey on brand names and model names separately. For example, Apache is a great name, but TVS is not ( my opinion ).

                      I think as a brand name the following are the best.
                      1. Yezdi
                      2. Norton
                      3. Suzuki
                      4. Aprilla

                      As model names, in my opinion, bikes, for that matter any vehicle would be best named after non living mobile objects. Letters and numbers also work well. My list is
                      1. Bullet
                      2. RD350
                      3. Pulsar
                      4. 150 ( remember Bajaj chetak's big brother ?)

                      I personally believe giving superlative names to vehicles is not cool. Nor do abstract nouns. Cant believe some big heads in Hero Honda actually churned out the name "Ambition" for a bike. In my opinion, the worst names are
                      Ambition, Passion, Glamour, Star, Platina, Hunk, Stunner etc. And I hate to admit this, for a super cool bike and brand name , Yezdi Roadking has a really uncool model name. RoadKing (??!!).
                      I think some day Bajaj or Hero Honda would name bike as Brilliant, Excellent etc.
