about that exhaust pipe, they are the original one's. the after market one's we get now a days r the locals and no where close to those classics. the aterial used in them is also a lot different, and most of all its the carbon deposit inside those silencers which make them sound soo meaty. and as for the engine sounds, haaah, no doubt they r the worst maintained engines in the world. and to be honest even my lightning engine has started to sound those military one's......... may be soon the silencer will follow too.......lol

Well...my father is a Govt Employee(law enforcement)..so he is given a bullet350 STANDARD..& thats a fine bike...
me & my brother were sharing a MACHISMO 350(ooh la la ..) & had to sell it off for some reason(it is till for sale)...& now he is planning for RX 135.& my mom has a ZX ZOOM...& can leave the four wheelers aside...
that makes a quality biking family.[^]a quaity example.

Re: Why do military bullets sound & feel so different

I have a bullet which is a 1990 ex air force model. Yes it sounds different from other bullet. And it is definitely heavy. Maybe because of the weight of chassis. And it's chamber and crank are all same. But it is more stable and it vibration is less.. it was bought for 8k in 98 or 99 i guess. And was with us till we planned to rebuild it in 2004.. till now there's no problem whatsover. And it sounds good and deep.. meaty thump and the best part is it changes it sound when revved after 70. The real sound of iron pound!
Keep thumping!!

No way.. 80s never had heavy crank.. last generation of heavy crank were from 70s mainly 77 or 76, I guess but never in 80s.

Yeah thats true.. after 70s there are no heavy cranks.. mine is light crank i guess and i didnt personally weighed it!
I havent mentioned mine having a heavy crank. I said mine weighs heavy.. and mine is vibration free engine.. and moreover the silencer is the madras one with baffles!
