Bikes becoming outdated ahem ahem.. there are commuters and there are bikers.. if one belongs to the first category and bike for him means going from place A to B then the thread starter's post makes acute sense

However, how can 1 explain the craze for yezdi/java's ,rd 350, rx100's even with the pain of spare parts in 2009 why would people howl to bring the honda cbr250 back, its jet engine like exhaust note still makes one shudder ...

If someone bought a kwacker (ninja) it would not be cuz' he did not have any choice[250 cc] .. but probably because he/she believes in the Kawasaki's pedigree and wants to experience everything that made baby ninja a bestseller ..

im sure this litlle ninja would stick around in his need and make him smile every time he finds a void in his life only to be filled by a nice long ride on his baby into the sunset

The similarity between air traffic controllers and pilots?
If a pilot fuks it up, the pilot dies.
If ATC fuks it up, the pilot dies. :D

Topic couldn’t be summarized in better way than Quote below (from Overdrive Nov09):
“Many people think Rs. 2.69 L is too much for a motorcycle, is too much for ninja. Well to the formers, I humbly submit that when you reach that point in your thinking, you’re ready to make the leap to four wheeler – don’t hang about, do it.”
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle

Basically we must start justifing the cost of twin parallel 250cc ninja. is it worth spending 3 lakhs when 650cc options are now available at price tag close to 5.5 lakhs? I would say that don't go for 2 wheeler loan if you are passionate about buying this 250cc green girl. If you can't afford then save and save harder or go for R15. I'm totally against paying a single penny (loan interest) above OTR price tag of ninja and wud rather invest that ammount in insurance or performance part.
Sometimes it takes tankfull of fuel before you can think wise

In absence of any good bikes before, I was planning to buy a Swift, but the Ninja has changed that. I know that I am going to get a lot of 'why-did-you-not-buy-a-car-instead' kind of comments from people when I get the Ninja, but I really don't care.

The 3 lakhs will come after scraping the bottom of my pans (bank balance) and I will have to sacrifice on a lot of spending for a few months after I buy it. And why not take a loan? I am not really a loan kind of guy - unless it is a house, education or medical emergencies, my way is to save money patiently and then buy the best in that segment after making the full payment. Then I take good care of those things, and they last forever. It has panned out pretty well so far...
Very well said brother. I second that !
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)
