no backlight....
it is detachable - it means that u need to take it off while parking ur bike n put it in ur pocket.
it takes all of 2 seconds ! it is like a slide in thing.
i'll get pictures of the additional light which can be fitted.. hold on...

it wud have been much better if they have made it with some backlight...!
'coz this light may hamper with the performance of bike... may reduce ur fuel avg. & also the top-end & accelarations...!! it will hamper with the aerodynamics of the bike...!

Is it possible? They say the battery in the Sigma runs for 2 years without replacement. Can the same battery be used for the backlight also?

originally they cud have inserted it but, not now...!

hey this oe sigma light is available in delhi frm where i got my bc800.its for 400 bucks i think well i hv not ordered it, thought of makin somethin my self,mohsin(worrisomebear) has it put on his bike ill ask him to post some pics.::-ride it like rossi,drive it like solberg!-::

Ok, I'm not very well-versed with the MC8. What I wanted to know was does it work the same as GPS units or is it just a digital add-on for the speedo? Does it improve accuracy to 99.99% compared to about 5-10% error of the stock analog speedos? I thought this was one of the most needed add-ons. Something which counts your Quarter Miles,0-60s, top speed and maybe additional features such as trip-meter etc.. Does it do all these?quote:Originally posted by ashvinnadig
