    Topic Approved.

@malcomk: I had to remove the pictures as they were huge. Please re-post the pictures in not more than 800x600 resolution.

    Thanks.

Sounds cool.. Post a few pics..
U built the exhaust yourself or bought it?

I think u should go through Joel's works. He has done some amazing mods on his R15.

next got my valve's grinded and ported the bike also shaved a piston by a mm
this made a diff in the intial of the bike which i must say is a little slag in the r15
next i got a custom exshaust made for the bike
              Nice .... A few questions ...

What gains did you get with the valve grinding ??? Is it the stock valves or you got bigger ones ?

Shaved the piston by a mm ? what will happen by doing this ? Usually if 1 mm is shaved from the piston the head and cylinder needs to be shaved as well to get higher compression

How did you map the fueling ? As we all know the bike leans out on higher RPM . Have you done any mods for the fueling ???

Am sure Joel will pull out his Gillete presto Mach 3, he has some "shaving" work to be done! he has been too busy with Ten10, Be nice to him, dont let him go through the agony of this thread!

@Malcom: Checkout Hemank thread on his 4 Yamahas, may be you can get some design cues from him.... !

btw can you share some pics of the bikea and the piston work that you have done? Where in Mumbai did you do it?

The stock piston is a dome type to give a higher compression ,
By shaving it , makes it flat , Lower the deck height and that makes it lower compression than stock .

                            I still ride stock :-(
