  • nitrous kits may be for pulsers

guys the pulser is one mechine in india which deserves a nitrous kit.i got some info for my friends.hope we can make our mean mechines meaner with it-An engine works by works by burning fuel which then expands and pushes the piston down, burn more fuel and the piston and the piston is pushed with more force, to burn more fuel you also need to burn more oxygen Nitrous Oxide is a gas composed of two nitrogen atom to 1 oxygen atom per nitrous oxide molecule (36% by weight). When it is shot into an engines combustion chamber, the gas breaks down into pure oxygen and pure nitrogen, in other words there is more oxygen in the cylinder than the motor could have drawn in on its own. This additional oxygen allows you to burn more fuel which ultimately gives you a generous power boost on demand. Nitrogen acts as a buffer to dampen the increased cylinder pressures and help control the combustion process.Nitrous Oxide by itself is not flammable, however the oxygen found present in nitrous oxide cause combustion of fuel to take place more rapidly.Nitrous also has a tremendous intercoolong effect by reducing intake charges by 60 to 70 degrees fahrenheit.Though it is really benificial for 4 cycle engines as they take more coaxing to get power from.A web site for kits-http://www.noswizard.com/bikenitrous.php .these guys promise a bolt on fitment on bikes.the kits do look simple enough for a local reproduction

To be very honest, I dont think that they would be practical on ne currect indian bike...

Don't try it on pulsar since it is not a mechanically very sound bike,I already have made NOS kit for bike with some imported solenoid valves but my bike has much problems and I can't think of losing warranty on it.

May be I will be trying it out on my cousins CBZ and testing it on HH showroom on Dyno, but only after my exams are over i.e. on 7/5.

      Bye for now,

dear amit where is nitrous avaliable in india?how did you fabricate the cylinder and where did u get the valves from?also what makes u think tht a cbzeee is better mech. design than a pulser?

NITROUS KIT FOR PULSARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR????????? Way to go dude. Even i want to put the kit on my bike if you could give some details on how to get the N2O in india and also what problems is your pulsar facing.
            bring me the mopeds.

The NOS kit comprises of mainly of solenoid valve and tubing along with boost gauge and cylinder.Solenoid valve was imported from KV Pheumatic,Buckinghamshire it can be reached at www.kvautomation.co.uk for Rs.2432 all inclusive.Tubing and gauge were also from KV but in India they have plant in Ambernath 10Kms from my home, they came for around Rs.800.Only NOS cylinderis crude item which has to be of a small fire extinguisher and was fitted with connector and filled with NO2.
Most workshops have dynos,my PB has one,HH show room has too but little less advanced than PB.Here i am not talking about dynos used by Ducati and Ferrari with computer interfaces and all, just a basic dyno used to measure acceleration, top speed, fuel economy and etc.

                        Other bits after my exams....

guys first of all if you speak of nitro it's just a boost or a kick used in drags.so it's not u run flatout in nitro only.u'll reach the skies anyways.u use a switch which prompts nitro to flow along with the normal fuel.nitro just increases the oxygen in fuel and gives a better blast and increase in bhp which is temp.so mr amit do try on a cbzee which u find mech. better than a pulser.though metallurgy has a big role to play in this conversion rather than techno wizardry.and you any cannot run nitro using standard valves, head and exhaust of a pulser or a cbzee.they r two small.u will need to mechine the head use better valves and a free flow exhaust.kindly do tell where u get the gas from.
i've wasted a lot of time in this conversion myself and can bet it cannot be done on a standard setup.it'll blow the head atleast.

so my fried designed this NOS kit....... fitted it on his esteem.....went great upto 190 kmph..... then the radiator blew away...... the engine got ****ed up and wat not..... wat would happen on a pulsar??

the rider would also get ****ed up along wid the engine.
