    2. Totally unacceptable for a new exhaust. You should contact Joel regarding this.

Why cant we have the exhaust in some other kind of paint finishing rather than chrome? Atleast some option should be there to choose from.
I thought the FFE's are made from stainless steel and polished? if so the rust you are seeing is just superficial, you will need some acid based cleaner to remove the spots, this will also prevent further rust from forming on the surface. This is a problem that occurs often here in Goa, I use only SS hardware is my business, on occasion customers have called me thinking I have supplied inferior hardware, the cause is either metal particles in the water or from the atmospheric dust, with a high content of iron ore in our dust and therefore also water here, it simply sticks to the SS.

simply spray the acid based cleaner onto the surface and leave for around half an hour, then wash is off, it will need to be kept moist or wet for the duration to work properly.

Confirm that the exhaust is made from SS first.

That is weird...as the raceconcepts.in site and my order specifically mentioned the dB killer . Although I can live without it

Yes,it is unacceptable as the rest of my 3+ years bike is spotless.

    2. You can clearly see rust both below the brake pedal and at the point of attachment below the rear foot rest.

ideally chrome does require extra care in monsoon..but it shouldnt have hapened with a new exhaust.

    Thanks for the info.

Maybe. Came as Air cargo - DTDC. But not really bothered with the looks as now the bike feels much better and more fun to ride.

One day while going to College, I did not notice that the signal is Red and so I did not stop. Finally Traffic police have caught me,took off my key and told me to pay fine of thousand bucks. After a negotiation I have paid a sum of 100 bucks and moved on.
The funniest part was that neither he nor the other cops have asked even a single question about the FFE:-)
