The exhaust weighs around 1.5kgs (as per Joel).

I got a 170cc block and the FFE for my 2007 RTR a year back.

My exp : Torque, Lower & mid range and mileage(in my case ) have increased. Top end increase am not really concerned. Cruising at 100-110 is a tad easier now compared to stock. Max my speedo displayed was 140kph odd but that was without full crouching due to a stuffed tank-bag.

P.S : If not for Joel's kit I would have ended up selling off my bike for something like the CBR250R but thankfully now I can further save my hard earned money for something bigger

I will do a top speed run and post an update as soon as possible. The best indicator of the power increase without any measuring equipment will be the max RPM on 5th gear. At stock this just about touches the red line... I'm sure the RMP will go higher.

And I'll post the pics on monday.
No bro, you dont need to hold the camera in hand. And not safe. And you dont need to buy a helmet cam or tank cam. Instead just strap a cameraphone inside helmet at front with duct tape. The camera will be peaking a little through the lid. Its a Cheap, Easy and Safe Solution. Try it

No Need of doing that on the safety point of view but you can use a helmet cam or make a contraption of securely Strapping of a Point & Shoot Cam to your chest over your jacket or Helmet using Duct Tape.

its been more than 3000 kms since i got Joel's FFE for my P220. The sound has mellowed down a bit, and has become easier on the ears...but only till one cracks open the throttle
Doesnt attract too much attention now when ridden around the 3k mark, but all hell breaks loose when I crack that throttle to overtake any slow moving bus. The FE on last tank full was a healthy 36kmpl, ridden in heavy traffic to ripping like mad on every open stretch . Cruising and gathering speeds at the mid range has become easier on the highway. Will get the head worked upon when i am in Bangy next. Thanks Joel. Keep up the good work.

Oh and yes, this exhaust is really light..Nothing in comparison to the stock. The stock system is way too heavy. I absolutely had to use both hands to lift it, but Joel's exhaust is really light. One can easily pick it up with one hand. I guess it shouldnt be more 3 kgs i guess. Joel please confirm.

Haven't got a chance to push the bike yet, but the improvement is apparent form the get go.

The low speed ridability has improved, feels like there is more torque to move you along. Whack open the throttle and the rpm rises much faster than usual. Feels like someone unlocked some hidden potential in the bike. There is a kick that wan't there before.

I have ridden a few modified pulsars before. The claimed fastest was a 180 with a 200 bore. The power delivery etc, was not linear and the bike seems to have gained power only in a certain RPM range. With just this exhaust the power delivery is way more effective. Should get Joel to work on the head now . I will update with more details about the performance once I get to push the bike hard enough. A track day should be on the cards.

The bike is loud now ( a good kind of loud). A db killer for my daily commute should be on the cards I guess. Till then I'll keep an extra 100 in my wallet for the cops, just in case. Keeping the RPM below 4k should not attract attention from the cops, but the way the bike revs now, that will be difficult to do.

One criticism would be the exhaust came in the way of the break pedal. No biggie though. Bending the pedal a small bit fixed that problem.

The only down side.. my dog is scared sh*tless the moment I start up the bike.

    Thanks Joel.

yeah the vibrations ve come down but still thr are sme light vibration.. hope to get rid of it in ma 2nd stage( larger carb, free flow exaust and K&N filter) thrs a clean burn of fuel and the combustion ratio is awesome.. the bike beating oly has changed a bit.. totally satisfied wit the mod...
