Joel, Good going man! Its good that you are developing such kits, so that there is an upgrade option for most of our popular premium bikes. Keep the good work goin!

Half knowledge is a big disaster.
The Karizma and Old CBZ charge the same platform and have similar engines.
The unicorn, CBZ-X, Hunk, achiever and the new dazzler have the same engine and is a newer platform. However the older engine has more potential since they are stronger and more robust in nature to take more abuse.
The Unicorn etc needs a different block and that will be discussed at a later stage.
i will start thread for all the bikes that I'm developing. So all the onwers can have engine specific discussion. Next in line will be for the R15, RTR and later for the p220.

Thanks Joel for clearing this confusion and from your words i interpret that zma and old cbz are better for engine mods/tuning.

honda thread i kno but i think a bore/stroke for FZ and Pulsar 135 would do most help as
Fz badly needs more power, (if it had, i mite not have totaled mine)and
Pulsar 135 partly coz it definitely has potential in both engine and bike overall but mostly coz i put my name down for it

anything coming for these two anytime soon bro?

a simple YES/ NO would do fine

                        Read this post first!
Dr. Joe will create seperate threads for the machines he is working on/planning to work!

@all: Refrain from posting OT's in these kinda threads! It's so frustrating to read OT's esp while browsing thru mobile

PS: P135 would be the last bike he would work on, I BET

I will start new threads for the most potent engines in business today, the R15 and RTR. Everything else is frankly not even close. The karizma is fairly good and a good all-rounder. The p135 is a commuter and it stands no chance to even being called as a performance engine, no matter how much bajaj shouts and calls it the fastest commuter on earth.
I'm taking some time to start the threads for the r15 and RTR coz i'm lining up and working on more goodies. They have the highest potential and can be transformed from mild to wild, which no other engine can do.

                          Its getting too OT.

The other depressing part as usual is that nobody is seriously interested in performance tuning. Everybody wants only pictures, comparisions, prices, specs and read some pop-corn stuff. Nobody realises how much money is wasted in buying a freeflow filter and some cheap plug wire etc. Then there are these illogical advices from illiterate mechanics and tuner friends that touching an engine is not a wise thing to do. We are light years behind the real performance scene.

                            So well said.Nailed it.

Another point to be noted is that there are only a very few who go the distance and get it done.Majority are initially excited by seeing the power gains but at the end succumb to the " touching an engine is not a wise thing to do " factor as you mentioned.

Thala i do accept there are a very few who are really interested in performance tuning, but the thing is for us enthusiasts in other states when an engine is tuned by a Tuner and not jus merely some bolt on or crappy lathe job done by some road side mech,it gets really difficult if some simple problem at all crops up.. We ppl are scared tat these stupid mechs wont understand how the engine is tuned and might actually **** up the engine when given to them in case of a small problem...
This is the most worrying thing well atleast for me it is...

^@racing hart - Now on, you dont have to rely on any roadside mech or so called tuners. Just plug and play, thats all that you need to do.
