My point is do we still have any roads on which a rider can go a good mile without deaccelerating for a second??
Or do we have any roads on which we can run our so called mini super bikes without crushing our heads into the pot holes, pets,or being the worst a Human being??
    Do we??
    No I Suppose!!

Iam not cotradicting the gr8 chap ken da..
Am just keeping my point of view..
Maybe you should read some of the logs that I have written of having done nearly 700kms in 7 hours without the engine or rider or pillion having to huff and puff!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

      Great that you did Sir..
But in any part of India, specially U.P. Or Bihar??
Here in North India we have few 4 or 6 lanes..
And even those 4 or 6 laned roads are diverted every few kms!
Surface isnt smooth enuf, slight up and down, riding a bike is like on a merry go round..
Villegers drive not only on the wrong lanes but also no the wrong sides where cars touch an avrege speed of 120kph!
Dead goats, dogs etc..what do this all show?
That meant we still have a load lot of things to improve!!
I never contradicted u,its just ma point of view as stated!

Of course there is a lot to improve. And they will improve. If Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra can do it, UP and Bihar may take longer but industrial progress is inevitable. Else they will lag behind economically. Some day they will have to come out of their feudal mindset.

Sorry for pointing this out but "youth" is already plural and there is no word in english language called youths.
Life is like riding a bike. It is impossible to maintain your balance while standing still.

              Ken Da,

What you told regarding a bike which can do 600 Kms in a single day and secondly we talk about roads, the big problem is if tomorrow when we have both the things we have achieved something great but then the big question comes is how safe we 2 wheel riders are between those idiot cab drivers and the ruthless truck and volvo drivers who thing road is their pops property and can smash any1 whom they feel. I have seen many 2 wheelers smashing down on the pune kolhapur which is a simple straight 4 lane highway , i wonder whether the RTO is gonna make some strict rules for 2 wheeler drivers to save them from being crushing down by the cabbies

A very simple rule will be brought into force and will be implemented the way it has been done in a lot of Expressways... they will ban 2 wheelers from using fast highways!

I agree to your point ken Da, but today we see express highways are built up but still people use the other routes and with that the reckless driving causing danger to every pedestrian and 2 wheeler riders on the road..

And secondly , if they built express highways all the smooth roads will go to the 4 wheelers than again we 2 wheelers are left with the potholes and other waste on the roads, again seeing the high performer bikes dying death without giving their best show

                  • It is funny how the disclaimer "this post meant no offence" always works the other way.

A simple psychological fact: Such disclaimers actually make people to look for something offensive in the post. And more often than not, they find it, even if it doesn't exist.

Disclaimer: This post meant no offence either.

                    • You know what, there is no place like India when it comes to riding a bike. I'm in the UK and the weather here sucks! Its either raining or too windy to just take your bike for a spin.. So just get on to our lowly 8.7 bhp lowly two wheels and make the most of riding there free as a biker should be!
