To clean the air filter, if you have a paper type airfilter then you just need to dis assemble the air filter box, take the air filter out and you need to blow air from opposite direction to blow off the dust. For blowing air you can use vacuumed cleaner, I use to use it, and its very worth full.

To adjust the clutch better to refer manual. But if you need a custom aggressive setting then during adjustment make it like after realizing the leaver 10-20mm from the grip the bike starts to move forward or the engine sound will change. The actual play of clutch is very very less, one don’t need the full clutch leaver play, company recommend it coz the want to make it safely.

The carb tuning is not that easy as people describe in xbhp or other forum. For a properly tuned engine running on pure gasoline is 14.7:1; that is, 14.7 lbs. of air to 1 lb. of fuel. But the 14.1:1 range slight richer and it is best for an engine. And for maximum horsepower is in the 12.2:1 - 13.5:1 A/F range. So all manufacturer tune their carb depending on their machine. And you think you can get it just tuning a screw?

Basically manufacturer uses CO tester to tune a carb to get the proper A/F mixture. So why only a stock carb setting can provide perfect power and mileage. These forum article never ever can give a perfect carb tuning.
After the engine wears and tears by 10k kms it needs an 1/8 richer mixture to operate smoothly like new. We can't depend the factory settings. I learned it trial and error.

before a week. i tried screwing the carb screw anticlockwise which could give more fuel to the engine so the engine wont scream.
But still the same and also my mileage dropped.

I reached my second service schedule.I got to service my bike this weekend,n also ask them to tune again my carb freshly...

If at all my engine doesn't turns up good, like smooth.can i claim warranty n replace with new engine?
Thank you for the servicing tips, yes you can fight with them to get your engine corrected, but i dont think they will agree . Be strong and say either you make it smooth or replace with new engine. Also try emailing HH customer support regarding this clearly mentioning your prob and your "DEMANDS" all the best.

Seems that your bike is in good condition, i said to check piston because i assumed that you worked on it, but from your response there is no need i guess. Seems this puzzle is becoming tough to solve . Can you try re-tuning your carb as per the guidelines in XBHP[Universal Threads], and see the if you can find any difference , as other things seems correct from your response this would be first and simple thing to start with. I am no expert just trying my bit of things

I finished my forst service.till now completd 1100 kms .

I am worried about My bike's Engine.

After reaching 45 kmph the bike starts vibrating a "urrrrrrrrrrr"
    sound is been produced []

Is the cbz xtreme always produce so?Cant i get smooth ride like ridding in pulsar.

I can even feel the vibrations near the place where my lap would touch, even @ 30kmph.

And one more weird thing, some times, bike sound like screaming, like if i give a heavy acceleration even i totlally close the throttle.

Kindly provide me your valuable suggestions and experience.
No bro, CBZ is much smoother than pulsar bcoz it has the legendary Unicorn engine. i dont know wat amt of vibration is called a vibration bcoz it varies from person to person...so i wud say ride another bike like the pulsar and check if u can feel the vibrations..
My Unicorn also produced vibrations at 4K initially but now its fine, i think ur bike wil also get smoother as u cover the kms.
Gear shifts problem i thnk only practice will help u till then may be u can engage the clucth for a longer period while u change the gear and quickly reach 3-4th gear while riding...

I hope u warm up the engine early morning, dont giv sudden acceleration for abt 3-4kms...

1)yes i didnt exceed 40 kmph till first service ie 500kms.
2)engine oil is as recommended by HH.But i am nt sure about the fill quantity. can i check it? how?
i guess CBZ X doesn't have oil indicator like pulsars, may be you can take help of any mech to check with oil level . My guess would be a wrong tuned carb as your's is a new bike there would be no issues from other parts. Tune the carb once and take a long ride within the speed limits of your bike as per the guide.

As I’ve said it’s a 100% technically maintained bike. And as it has done only 8k+ km so its very general that I didn’t disassembled the engine components so far, until it has any major problem. As for the basic things top to bottom, front to end every thing is 100% correct expect the correct nut/bolt torque, as I don’t have a torque wrench but still I never do oversight any bolts, try my best to keep them in specific range. Sparkplug gap to engine oil everything is fine. Even a loose leg/engine guard can produce low-massive vibration.

I ever hardly use a oil for max 2k km but even after 2k km still the oil level don’t decrease few millimeters and that means no way of leaking, the piston is intact and the engine is peaty much healthy.

As per your point without disassembling there have no way to check the smoothes of the piston movement, and I don’t want to disassemble it any way.

I’ve checked for any loose nut/bolts which are holding the engine into the frame but no luck, however one nut was a little loose longtime back but after correcting it still no improvement.

As per my knowledge an imbalance piston can cause the vibration, but generally happens for multiple piston engines. And another thing is imbalance or loose/incorrect fitted camshaft can cause low frequent vibration after/between a specific RPM range. But 1st I prefer to check all basic possibilities so why I need an experts advice.

    1) did u followed running in guidelines for your bike like not exceeding 50kmph for first 1K kms?

    2) Is the engine oil used is of correct recommended grade and is it upto the fill quantity, this also might be the reason for vibrations.

Next thing you need to check is Carburator tuning , i think we have good Carb tuning guideline in Xbhp , search in universal threads.

Coming to point as you maintain every thing correctly lets start with basic things like are there any loose screws .. if everything is correct then something to do with engine. I am not sure about the following but have a check whether oil is drained out very soon leaving engine rough, any oil leakages... at last option check whether piston movement is smooth any rough areas around it.

How ever the low jet is maybe a little richer side, but rich mixture reduce vibration AFAIK. I’ve tried few other same bikes and they produce comparable less vibration than mine.

I change the oil frequently, keep the air filter clean, every possible thing I do.

It is relatively new, hence the burning smell. And yes, Honda's engines don't screw up so easily.

    The bike's fine, don't worry.

What i am worried is I learned ridding bike(gear shifting) only with this cbz xtrme,so initially i may have screwed up the engine?i do felt some burning smell @ very start of riding.

Also i am not yet practised with smooth gear shifting. some times i may make the bike little bit uncomfort with gear shift.

Do these thing could have made my engine go crazy.

Can i fix this? Can i get my bike to smooth condition.?
