  • Inspection before bike delivery

    Hi all,

I am going to book a blue R15 this week..The dealer told that he will deliver the bike in 10 days.

So I want help from all of you guys regarding what are the parameters I should check before getting the bike

Some of the points which I checked previously in my FZ
    1. Manufactured date
    2. RC book details, bill voucher details
    3. Will check the stability of handle bar.
    4. Suspension
    5. Engine exhaust note (It should be a distinct single note, not a cluster of sounds)
    6. Function of switches
    7. Scratches in vehicle

I may miss a lot of important check points so Kindly help me to check my bike effectively before getting it.
Its not about just vrooming the engine, sharp cuts, top speeds...A true biker should understand his machine

This question has been answered & discussed several time before on the ownership thread : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...f-r15-575.html

You can use the search feature & find the answers. You've nailed down most of the checks though.

@Mods: These kind of bike-speciic related queries can be merged with the ownership thread itself, or such new threads locked with a comment to search in the respective ownership thread.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
