  • low pick up in pulsar 150

    Hi, Guys
    i own Pulsar 150 dtsi(2005),my bike has clocked 28900kms;
but now a days my bike's pickup and speed has gone for a toss,
Engine knocks like hell, because of which
I got the servicing done with engine oil change,
I tuned the carb. to optimum performance;done tappet settings,
spark plug and air filter cleaning from authorized service center,
now my bike runs very softly but what's the use without
the power and speed? there's no engine oil consumption, no visible
(black or white) smoke from the exhaust. but i've seen that neutral
light is ON(dim) even when the bike is in gear. is it because of worn out
clutch plates??(i've never changed them). or some other problem in the engine or
    something??
    please help me out.

    thanks in advance..

Your bike has run 29000 km and you have NEVER changed the clutch plates?
That should be changed at a specific service as given in your manual.

The clutch plates must be totally worn out, those are the first thing you need to get changed.

as said above , check clutch plates hopefully that will solve your problem.
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced
