      @pabi,
      keep an eye on the road condition after belgaum while travelling by bus(volvo i think) and check the route if possible especially londa-ponda section.I will be doing this trip on Nov.24th 2010 from hyd.

        i travelled it last weekend on bus, route after belgaum to goa[panjim] via NH4A is good, with little rough patches. Overall road is good can maintain speeds of 80-+ . I felt roads are not that good near zaheerabad , also felt some heavy bumps between bijapur -belgaum or gulbarga to bijapur [as i was sleeping i am not sure abt the exact location ]. Overall my tour was very good, had a ride from calangute- old gao-st peters church-mangeshi temple-margoa-colva beach-calangute on activa. it was fun riding this machine. Also had a FZ ride for a day in calangute and lots of water sports and EMPTY bottles . Only minus is the way in which waiters treat customers especially when group of guys go there first priority is foreigners ,family guys, guys with gals.

              Gooty-Bellary-Hospet road is supposed to be a God Forbidden Road.. and as you are saying night that will be a Devil forbidden Road too .. Jokes apart that is not at all a good road.

              I would say Mahabubnagar-Raichur-Hospet is a better route I dont know beyond that.

                      For a Innova that roads will be a piece of cake... Only that there are a lot of speedbreakers!!!
