    help regarding zma meter sensor.

    hello guyz,

    Few days back speedometer cable of my karizma r was broken, as you all know hero honda spares is hard to find. It took time to find it, now when i have it. Went to service center to get it replaced. now SVC fellow said that, there is meter censor under meter assembly where speedometer cable connects got jammed & its not rotating. So it needs to be replaced. Now the thing is that that small piece costs rs 3000/- something.

    So i wanted to know is there any alternate option for its replacement or how it will get repaired.

        I dont think that is repairable.
        If you are talking about the 1 solid metal piece that connects the cable to the meter.
        Friend had a similar issue and had to replace it.

            Am not exact on the price but somewhere between 2300~2600
            This is like a year ago.
            Maybe try the "choor bazar" where you get parts like these off the knocked off bikes.You get them for cheap there...

              All spare parts shop quoted me 3000/-.

              & chor bazaar bhi dhundh dala, no use.
