The remarks in bold red by service center is quite common. Please ignore unless you trust the service center guys.Originally posted by rs_creep View Postok bro! 4000km 3 free servicing is done..but that servicing center person just says this sound is normal.will this sound may harm my bike..bro tappets should be loosen or tight.and can u say what type of sound does the balancer make.
No. Loose tappets will not harm your bike to a great extent but it is good to tighten it to recommended specifications. My DIY(s) - Sprocket bearing change | Paint job | Custom speedo dial
Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.

It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

Do not mess with the AFR by yourself. Leave it to a mechanic or the service center.Originally posted by rs_creep View Postbro the sound from my engine was repaired it was the tenor mistake they repaired it..
What is ''tenor mistake''?My DIY(s) - Sprocket bearing change | Paint job | Custom speedo dial

Re: Pulsar 220cc DTSI manufacturing defects
It is "Cam Chain Tensioner" and seems like they've recommended a change of "timing chain" if this reappears. And AFR could be anything between 2.5 turns to 3 turns outward.Originally posted by rs_creep View Postsorry they changed the tensnor.which is related to cem chain.the kat kat sound is removed but if i mess with afr then can i again hav the same problem..and 4000 kms done if that sound again comes they are saying to change kem chin bro what type of sound will ken chain produce if it is not working properly and my current afr is 2.5 turns! My DIY(s) - Sprocket bearing change | Paint job | Custom speedo dial

when i start my bike at morning idle speed is on 1000 rpm.engine sounds cool!but as soon as i ride for 2 km rpm becomes 1200 and sound begins to com while stooping it.on gear not on neutral..sound comes a lot while starting at gear and comes lil bit slower at neutral.and that somthing is hitting inside my engine.i can feel it woth my body!sound like one rod is hitting another rod help me frens wat type of sound is it..and when i decrease my idle rpm on a hot engine from 1200 to 1000 then the sound doesnt comes much but after few few seconds i suddenly comes and go!the sound is comming from upper side of the engine.right side ...bike is pulsor 220 new model.tappet ar adjusted but again sound appears.

Re: Pulsar 220cc DTSI manufacturing defects
Its not a problem at all buddy..Just check your Idling rpm ...Make sure it is around 1200-1300 whilst starting and once the engine has heated up..it should be around 1500-1600...Originally posted by renegadeaks View PostFinally got my bike delivered today!!!
I have a doubt though.... The bike just stalls sometimes while it is in the first gear..is it a major problem???R15S - Current

Maybe he was new to the bike (since he said he got it newly delivered). Maybe he was new to the >100cc category where the engine cuts out if you hold the clutch lever loose (seen with people used to Splendors).
Or, maybe the clutch play was very less.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
