Gagan... I just want to know... When you say the Brakes are not efficient, do you mean the front or the rear brakes?

In case of Tyre skid, is it the front or the rear??

If you can elaborate on how you brake, it will be easier to judge. Is it like 90% Front and 10 % rear or what?? Or do you depend more on rear brake??? Kindly elaborate so we can come to a conclusion easier...

      @ Gagan,
Normal braking 60% front 40% rear
      Emergency 75% front 25% rear
Wet condition same as Normal braking.
These are figures assuming you have good tires.

        Hi,

Skidding is in rear tyre always. As far as the question is for application of brakes, i always apply both the brakes in all situations sine a long time, but no bike eved skid alike rtr.

If you are facing so, something is wrong with your braking system. Cos RTR has the sharpest braking among bikes you mentioned (you can bring in many other bikes as well into this).

Check the brake fluid isn't leaking. If the seals need replacement, change them and check brake pads, check if disc is oily. Somehting is wrong somewhere. And if its rear disc and you are in habit of rear brake, that bike is not going to stop with rear brake.

Along with that, for tyres, consider the PSR sir's note.
I Totally agree with nox2505. RTR has Very Sharp braking System as compared to others...
I too bought rtr160 3 months back and never faced probelms regarding Braking System, though due to Hard compound tyres it may slip a bit in Urgent braking conditions...
I'm also be changing tyres after 4 months to pireele..

check brakepad wear if its below the wear limit replace them. change tires to mrf . you wont feel any skidding afterwards. change pressure of both tires. to recommended level. i.e 28 for front and 32 for rear.
also do air bleeding of both disks..

this should solve any problems in braking.
